About Us:
The Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) primary mandate includes, among others, regulating the affairs of all property practitioners; allowing for transformation in the property sector and to ensure consumer protection against undesirable practices and conduct of property practitioners.

The Property Practitioners Act (PPA) on which the PPRA derive its core mandate and responsibilities is a consumer-centric organisation whose primary aim is to protect consumers in the property industry as well as to instil transformation of the property practitioner industry and to maintain professional standards in the property practitioners sector.

The Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) is a schedule 3A public entity of the National Department of Human Settlements which was established in February 2022, in terms of the Property Practitioners Act 22 of 2019 (the PPA).

The Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) has the responsibility to regulate, maintain and promote the conduct of property practitioners. The authority seeks to enable ease of conducting business in the property sector, while ensuring compliance with the PPA and applicable legislation and giving full effect to the transformation objectives of the PPA.

HI, we are nopt happy with the service provided by the Agent of Wakefields Marvern. We pruchased teh property and found unseen damages when we were handed teh keys. This was a case on non disclosure. The seller advised us that the agents were fully aware on the defects and did not disclose this to us. We addressed this with the management and Wakefields Malvern and were advised that there was not further they could do. We viewed teh premises when all furnoture was in place and and only noticed the defects when teh house was empty and the agents were made aware of these defects immediately. And still could not assist. We have photos taken at teh time. and we have since obtained a quote for rectification of the defects. We also have a recording form the seller, stating how badly she was treated and basicall forced out of her own house. We initially gve teh agent two weeks to view the damages and they showed not interest. I will never make use on Wakefields and make sure this goes onto social media.
