What is Toughees “It’s Your Time To Shine” Competition?
The Toughees “It’s Your Time To Shine” Competition is run by Toughees, which forms part of the Bata South Africa (Pty) Ltd. To participate in this competition, the participant must be a legal resident of the Republic of South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland or Botswana. The competition will run from 28th December 2022 to 15th February 2023. The selected winners will win a cash prize to the value of R30 000 each.

Eligibility of Toughees “It’s Your Time To Shine” Competition
To be eligible to participate in this competition, the participant must:
i. Be a legal resident of the Republic of South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland or Botswana
ii. Be a natural person and not juristic entity, which juristic entity includes but is not limited to a business to Business (B2B) partner of the organiser, cross border partner or retail partner of the organiser. The entry must be completed in the participant’s name
iii. The participant will be required to provide all the correct information. The organiser will not be held responsible for incorrect supplied, and a contestant not being contacted due to this.
iv. In the event that an uploaded text does not conform to the organiser’s requirements, the participants must consider their entry unsuccessful.
v. Participants are not required to make a purchase in order to enter and purchases of Toughees products will not contribute towards successful entries.
vi. Entrants will not receive any payment for taking part in the competition or taking part in any media format related to it.
vii. You may not win a prize if it is unlawful for us to supply such a prize to you. If you do win such a prize, you will forfeit it.
viii. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain permission from their parents or guardians before entering.
How to Participate in the Toughees “It’s Your Time To Shine” Competition?
i. Participants will qualify for entry into the competition by submitting an entry, name, surname and email address (if applicable) either via whatsapp +27 57 814 5994 scanning the QR code or entering on the website www.toughees/pages/itsyourtimetoshine.co.za during the competition period.
ii. Entries may be submitted in a written, audio or drawing format.
Prizes of Toughees “It’s Your Time To Shine” Competition
i. Winners will be contacted and informed that they have been selected as 1 of 10 winners.
ii. The selected winners will win a cash prize to the value of R30 000 each.
iii. Winners grant permission for us to use their names and photographs in any advertising and promotional material for this Competition. You may ask us to remove your name or refuse to take part in any publicity.
iv. The winners’ name and surname will be published on Toughees Facebook and/or Instagram pages. Winners grant permission for us to use their names and photographs in any advertising and promotional material for this Competition. You may ask us to remove your name or refuse to take part in any publicity.
v. A Bata selected panel comprising of Bata representatives will select the winners based on the following criteria:
a. Most creative submission
b. Entrants are eligible and comply to competition terms and conditions
c. Sent to Bata during the campaign period
vi. Each prize is governed by the Terms and Conditions found herein.
vii. The prize is not transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for any other item
viii. Prizes are limited and will be awarded at the organizers’ discretion
ix. Judges’ decisions are final.
