What is Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary?
The Amandla Omoya Trust is offering individuals the opportunity to pursue post-school studies at accredited South African tertiary education or training institutions. This includes public and private TVET colleges, universities of technology, and academic universities. These bursary programmes are managed by StudyTrust. Last date of application is 31st October 2026.
Eligibility of Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary
** Individuals who reside within a 50km radius of the Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm.
** Individuals who are South African citizens are eligible to apply.
** Individuals accepted at any recognised South African public or private tertiary education or training institution.
Criteria For Applicants:
** Must be a South African Citizen
** Not older than 35 years
** Must reside within 50km radius of the Jeffreys Bay Wind farm
** Must be accepted to study at any recognised public or** private South African tertiary education or training institution
** Matriculation is a requirement

Value of Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary
The value of the bursary will be determined on an individual basis and may be used to cover the following study-related cost items:
** Tertiary institution tuition fees, registration fees and examination fees
** Accommodation in a tertiary residence or equivalent
** Meals
** Learning materials (textbooks, stationary, etc.)
Selection Criteria of Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary
Academic Performance:
Selection will be done based on prelim/final Grade 12 results and latest results or Highest grade passed and wanting to study towards a NQF level 6 technical, skills training and training programmes, as well as national diploma and degree programmes are invited to apply.
Financial Need:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate lack of sufficient financial resources to continue with tertiary education.
