Competition Details :
** The SA Schools Sports Gymnastics Championships takes place 10 – 15 December 2016 in Gauteng.
** Approximately 450 learners from 8 provinces (bar Northern Cape) will attend the 2016 Championships, participating in 4 gymnastics disciplines of Artistic Men and Women, Aerobic Gymnastics and Ropeskipping.
Schedule of events will see :
** 10th Dec – Arrival of participants
** 11th Dec – Rope skipping Prelim Competitions
** 12th Dec – Aerobic Gymnastics Prelim Competitions
** 13th Dec – Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (Prelims and Finals)
** 14th Dec – Ropeskipping and Aerobic Finals
** Gymnasts compromising the following age groups will participate; those of under 13, under 17, under 15 (deaf and intellectually challenged).
** Each age group comprises a team of 4 gymnasts.
** Venues will be announced in due course.
