1. I booked a ticket for the 11th June for my son to travel from Mossel Bay to Durban. The bus was to leave at 11H30 but he stayed until 15H00 with no bus showing. We tried calling the number given to us and no one picked up. It’s disappointment and I feel ripped off because the email address is not going through for me to claim the money back.

2. Your service is extremely poor, like 0%. How can you tell your customers that the bus will be delayed for 5 hours from 22h15 to 03h45 yet it’s 05h30 in the morning and still there is no bus. We have been sitting in the cold since yesterday. I think you guys should consider leaving the business because clearly you are failing miserable, I will tell others about the poor service you offer.

    Ma bus was supposed to b in klerksdorp buy 18:45 .It arrived now 20:18.I've tried to call just ringing.Pooooooooor saves.We love it cause is cheaper that the other busses..U guys must try to pull your socks pls .Is not nice n they don't even bother to call the passengers to apologize.Even when the come no apology.

    This is the worst bus service I have ever come across. We booked online and when we get to Park Station we are told they are not sure if there will be a bus for that day. This was from Jhb to Park Station. You are so disorganized I don't not even know how to explain this. On our way back from Limpopo to Jhb we waited for 3 hours at Polokwane because they make changes and separate us depending on our destination.
    By the time we arrived at Park Station people that were still going to take other buses missed them. When you ask questions they get irritated with you as if its your fault. Very very bad service especially the Limpopo line I think if you had competition you would pull up your socks

  • I waited for the bus yesterday from 10:55 until 12:45. Ended up having go go and take a taxi. No communication received from city to city. Very poor service. I basically donated my bus fare to them.

    Am beyond dissappointed my mom booked 3 tickets to travel from Durban to Johannesburg only to be forced to pay R220 for a 1year 8 months baby. When getting to the bus baby was denied a sit and she was told to go claim for refund only to be send from pillar to post and the durban station manager called the driver to confirm of which the driver said he forgot about that and he's sick and this was after they confirmrd that a child less than 3 is not paying. The proof was all in front of him but Mr Nkosi chose to rip off the old lady based on his driver's forgetfulness and mind you even during the trip the bus broke down and they waited morw than 4 hours to be fix and later dropped stranded at park station arkund 1am instead of 17:00pm

    I WENT TO BURY MY MOTHER ON THE 31TH OF JUNE 2023 AT LIMPOPO, ON the 4th i came back with city to city buses, i've change the bus that i was in from GA- MAPHALLE BALOBEDU IN POLOKWANE AND RIDE THE BUS NUMBER PLATED (YTP 746 GP) THE DRIVER WAS absolutely fucking rude beyond the point where every one in the bus was upset.When we reach ALEX where i am going, the bus stopped near ALEXANDRA HOME AFFAIRS. we got out of the bus, i was the last to come ofF the bus. the driver told me to close the door of the bus,... he did not even ask me.i told him that i am still taking my bag on the side of the bus.I will CLOSE when i come back, he said to me if i dont believe he can go with my bag. i resond to him and said if he want to take my bag he can.... he drive off with my bag,,,,,, at first i thought he is joking. up untill he seriously drive off with my travelling bag. i was so freaking mad because.. i went to town to report at the ticket officers. they told me to wait for the bus that will come...it came and took me to the derpo luckily we met with him at the garage then took my bag from him.i ask him to pay me the fees that i used when i was looking for him and time.. his name is called Mr Mashibyi ,...that man dont have even a little remorse.. no apology.. from that man.. he thought all he did is right.. or he did that because i am a woman and old.. i am so cross and humiliated in front of other people that was looking at me when MR mashibyi running with my bag.. telling himself that he is clever because he is driving a bus.

Veen trying to get a refund since friday the 7th April 2023 till 20 April 2023 no luck what so ever only a refund number that my husband took to bellville bus stop for the refund like the customer call center said we should and then got told they dont help white people...     My partner has been waiting as from 18h45 when the bus was scheduled to depart from East London to Durban and the time now is 23h25. I have tried calling all your national customer care numbers and your correspondents and none is going through. My fiance is in the dark there is load shedding she is hungry there are no food outlets in the are as it is she remains highly vulnerable. I wish to state that anything bad happens to my partner we will definitely sue your company because you subject customers to very unsafe conditions with you latecoming. You do not even let your customers aware of why there are delays.   • I took one of your buses from George to Cape Town 12:05 today son the 27 March 2023. The bus trip was not a good experience, the drivers kept on picking up hitchhikers on the road and some of them where not even representable we didn’t feel safe and we were scared to even go to the bathroom and leave our belongs in the bus. Another thing the bus was even an hour late in George.

    I have pictures they are proof of the drivers letting in a hitchhiker. I also the number plate it was FT83SJGP and the pictures of the drivers too.

    I hope this can get looked at because it’s unacceptable.

  • Worst service ever, ladies on counter are very rude and display unprofessionalism. They are less informative and get defensive when asked questions. I am truly shocked they even turn people away without explaining, their bus is late they just don't care to a point where they verbally say it.

      City to City doesn't care about peoples life n time I bought tickets to Johannesburg yesterday the bus supposed to come by 23:55 they called me saying the bus will be late by 3 hours I sat there at garage alone the Warrenton police took me to police station but still I had to go back to the garage to wait I waited there until 05:30 all alone but still no bus imagine a Lady standing all alone I called your number I didn't reach you even police called your numbers you don't answer you hang up

I booked 2tickets from Mokopane to Medusa for sun 08 January 10h45, we waited untill 13h00 and when the bus came, it didn't stop, it just passed mokopane station without stopping, when we call, they said the bus was full,while we have stucked with tickets.

    Your stuff service is extremely poor.... yesterday I went to Durban Station to book a bus ticket for today 06:45 in the morning ,the said ok , she booked the bus but she put wrong time 17:45 and when I'm trying to call to change the time , they didn't pick the phone and in the morning I went straight back to the office to fix the mistake , she denied that she is the one wrote a wrong time.... and I will be charged 10% for the money and they don't have money to refund me , it's still in the morning

    City is so I considered regarding its passengers. Fully loaded bus + a goods trailer attached ( not for customer luggage ?)
    They discover the trailer lights does not work so the passengers bus need to wait for an indefinite time at a station with no facilities except station toilets.
    The bus was so late ( scheduled for departure from Bellville station 11:35am arrived 13:35..
    They auto electrician was summoned at 2pm by the driver,5pm the auto electrician was still in Kraaifontein 🤦🏻‍♂️… we been sitting at Worcester station 2:30pm it 17:14 now..
    When the driver calls he people of his company they are reluctant to give him clear answers on his answers queries.
    I was suppose to be in Victoria west by now..
    this is not the first bad experience, my last time using City to City same place same delay( that time it was the tres again needed to wait on another bus)…. Now the driver get to make up time short stops, missing stops…putting our lives at risk.
    Where is the minister of transport about unfit busses???
    This is a state company.. they just don’t Care about their customers ( we paid for the service).. why having time schedules.. won’t Use this service again…

    I had the very same problem. Was booked for the 14th at 6.25. Was there since 6 with my 2 small kids. Had to return home and got back at 10.45 cause the bus was delayed with 5 hours. At 11 no bus, my husband had to keep on asking what is happening. I missed a damn interview because of this. Ni sms or nothing!!!! Why ask for numbers if you dont even bother to inform your clients as to what is happening. Then they cannot give a refund cause they do not have money. We had to book another bus just to get to our destination. This is the worst ever. No apology nothing.
