** The enquiry system is developed to assist applicants to enquire about available courses on the TUT website.

** There is no need to go to campus.
** This system will incorporate all the Grade 12 and IEB results for all the provinces for the last five years, which means Grade 12 learners do not have to submit any other information except for their ID numbers for the system to evaluate the enquiry.
** The extended Contact Centre will utilise the same system for telephone enquiries.
** Successful enquiries will be requested to follow an electronic application process and only report to campus on the day of registration, or even better, make use of the online registration facility and register from home!

How To Use TUT Late Application Enquiry System?

To use TUT Late Application Enquiry System, follow the below steps

Enquiry with a reference/student number

** Go to .tut.ac.za
** Click on “late application enquiry system” under quick links
** You have to submit either your reference/student number or ID number.
** Verify your personal details and click on “confirm”

** If you have previously applied at TUT, the system will indicate your final status for the courses you have applied for.
** If you are satisfied with your current application status, click on “registration information” to get all the details regarding registrations.

** If you are not satisfied with your current course, click on “change course”.
** Courses that you qualify for and that still have space available will be displayed per faculty and campus.
** Please select your preferred faculty and campus.

** If you are satisfied with your selection, click on “submit an enquiry”.

** If you are not happy with your selection click on “make a different selection” to restart the process.
** Enter your cell phone number and click on “submit”.

1. I applied for ND Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics on Monday because it is stated that the closing date is Wednesday for July intake. I also emailed my course (ND Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics) and ID no again to confirm my application for admission but till now, I have not heard from TUT. I also applied for 8% Grant Adjustment but still I did not receive any response. Please help me.

2. I have applied last year. I checked status, it was accepted and told me that I am on waiting list but still even to date, I heard nothing regarding my application. I am confused. What am I supposed to do?

    • You do to the department of higher education and combine your two statements. Then it will come as one statement with the upgraded subjects which costs R88 and come with your certified ID copy.
