Competition Period :
** The Competition will commence at 00:01 on 10 January 2017 and end at 23:59 on 27 February 2017 (“Competition Period”).
** No persons will be entitled to any promotion benefits after the Competition Period.

Eligible entrants :
In order to be eligible for participation in this Promotion, an entrant must be :
** 18 (eighteen) years of age or older or, if younger than 18 (eighteen) years, be assisted to the extent necessary by a parent or legal guardian;
** be in possession of a valid South African identity document or passport;
** be a citizen or permanent resident currently living in South Africa or a foreigner legally residing in South Africa;
** be willing to provide the Organisers with their personal information including, but not limited to, full name/s and surname, identity number, age, physical residential address and mobile telephone number; and
** undertake to abide by these Rules and the General Promotional Competition Rules,
** failing which, the winner shall forfeit the prize on the grounds of ineligibility.
** Each entrant represents and warrants that by entering in or participating in this Competition, he/she has full eligibility to do so.
** The Organisers reserve the right to request proof that entrants have met these eligibility requirements.
1. Entry into the Competition :
1.1. To enter the Competition, eligible entrants will be required to purchase a KFC Streetwise Five meal (“Streetwise Five”) at any of the Participating Stores (“Purchase”). Upon completion of the Purchase, eligible entrants will be issued with a receipt (till slip) displaying a unique USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) code (“USSD Code”).
1.2. Entrants will then be required to enter the USSD Code on their mobile device and follow the on-screen prompts to be entered into the competition.
1.3. Entry via USSD will be charged at 20c/20sec (twenty cents per twenty seconds), provided that the total cost of entry into the Competition will not exceed R1.50 (one Rand and fifty cents).
1.4. Multiple entries will be permitted for the Competition in accordance with paragraph 2 below, subject to each entry being submitted separately in respect of separate purchases of a Streetwise Five made at any Participating Store.
2. Nature of Reward/Prize and Reward/Prize allocation
2.1. Subject to the provisions of these Rules, eligible entrants stand a chance to win 1 (one) of 30 (thirty), R10,000.00 (ten thousand Rand) cash payments towards school fees (“Prize”).
2.2. The winners of the Prizes in clause 2.1 will be selected on Monday, 13 March 2017 by means of a random draw, conducted at the offices of Yonder Media Proprietary Limited, being Southdowns Office Park, Block C, 2nd Floor, 22 Karee St, Centurion, 0157 (“Draw”).
2.3. The winners referred to in clause 2.2 above will be notified telephonically after a valid entry (as per clause 1 above) that they have won a Prize. The winner will then be required to provide additional information to the Organisers in order to have the school fees paid, including furnishing a copy of an invoice for the school fees to the Organisers. The Organisers will then effect payment of the Prize (via electronic funds transfer (EFT) directly to the valid South African bank account of any 1 (one) school nominated by the winner.
2.4. Where the Organisers are unable to contact the winner for longer than 2 (two) days after the Draw referred to in clause
2.1 above, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected in terms of the provisions of clauses 2.1 to 2.3 above. Similarly, where winners fail to comply with the provisions of this clause 2, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected in terms of the provisions of clauses 2.1 to 2.3 above.
2.5. The Prizes are not transferable and the Organisers reserve the right to substitute any reward or prize with another reward or prize of similar value.
