Financial Systems Business Analyst :

Purpose :
** The main purpose of this job is to provide end user system support, train, facilitate and project manage enhancements as well as configure functional aspects of Oracle Financial Modules.

** The focus of the job is to perform the above functions on the Oracle Cash Management and Oracle Accounts Receivables modules as primary modules of support and other financial modules as secondary modules of support.

Brief Description :
The role of the Financial Systems business analyst will be the following :
** To support the Oracle Cash Management and Accounts Receivables modules. All calls logged by users on these modules must be resolved based on set service level agreements.
** Configure and enhance systems on the Cash Management and Accounts Receivables modules.
** Conduct testing of the Oracle modules when upgrades and rollup patches are applied on the ERP environment.
** Assist in defining system solutions that are automated to assist the business in saving manual effort and time.
** Perform system training on the Oracle Accounts Receivables and Cash Management modules.
** Perform system training on the Oracle Short Courses System, which is a custom solution that integrates to Accounts Receivables.
** Ensure that training manuals for the Accounts Receivables and Cash Management modules are kept updated based on functionality changes as a result of the latest patch sets or upgrades.
** Raise service requests with Oracle to resolve business critical issues.
** Document functional specification documents for enhancement requests based on business user requirements.
** Provide financial information (reports or data extracts) to auditors.
** Suggest system improvements and enhancements that are in line with business processes.
** Work closely with technical developers to ensure that enhancements to the system are being conducted according to business specification.
** Skilled in understanding the integration processes between Oracle Cash management and Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Payroll.
** Develop test cases in conjunction with business users to test all functionality of the Accounts Receivables and Cash Management modules.

Requirements :
** Undergraduate Qualification or Diploma in Information Management Systems or equivalent
** Exposure to ERP systems
** Minimum 3 years’ experience in support environment using ERP systems, preferentially on Oracle Financials.
** Oracle certification will be beneficial
** Knowledge of financial systems
