Term & Conditions

** Bursaries won can only be used for tuition at Edge Business School and does not include third party fees.
** One bursary per person can be won.

** One entry per person.
** Bursaries cover 4 years of free Edge tuition from 2019 to 2022.
** Competition is open to all SA residents over the age of 16 except employees of Edge Business School.

** Prizes are not transferable.
** Prizes are not exchangeable for cash.
** Competition runs from 29 January 2018 to 15 August 2018.

** By entering this competition you are allowing the use of your contact details for future marketing promotions.
** Edge decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
** Draw for winners will be done on 20 August 2018.

Academic Bursaries

** Our academic bursaries are based on your last year’s proven record.
** University academic bursaries – applying to full time students only

A student who achieved the following number of distinctions in their UNISA degree in the 2017 calendar year, qualifies for an academic discount on their tuition fees. Student must register with Edge at the beginning of the year and do 8 or more modules.
1. 10 distinctions – 75%
2. 9 distinctions – 50%
3. 8 distinctions – 25%

Grade 12 :
** These discounts apply to 2017 grade 12’s and only for the 2018 Calendar year
** A student who achieved the following number of distinctions in grade 12 final exams in 2017, qualifies for an academic discount on their tuition fees. Student must register with Edge at the beginning of the year and do 8 or more modules. Excluding life orientation.
1. 6+ distinctions – 75%
2. 4-5 distinctions – 50%
3. 3 distinctions – 25%

What does our bursary include?

** Bursaries awarded will only be used to cover the tuition fees at Edge Business School for modules that form part of the formal qualification. No fees for registration, books, calculators etc and no external fees form part of the bursary.

How do I apply?

** Download our bursary application form
** Complete all information on the bursary application
** Read application instructions and requirements carefully
** Send the completed form together with the required documents to info AT ebs.co.za.

What is the selection process?

** Only applications from South African citizens will be considered.
** The main criterion for the selection of application is financial need or academic achievement

** Bursary applications are invited from individuals who aim to study towards any UNISA undergraduate degree for which Edge Business School offers lectures.
** Edge may grant a bursary of between 25% to 100% on the total of the fees.
** Edge Business School decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Dear Applicant
We have received your request for an Edge Business School Bursary for 2018 and have pleasure enclosing an application form.

When completing the form, please take note of the following :
** Read the instructions carefully.
** Return the completed form, together with the required documents to info AT ebs.co.za

** Applications that are not 100% complete will not be considered. Please ensure that all requested documents are attached.
** Documents that accompany the application form must be certified.
** Please sign at the end of your application in the space provided.

Selection Criteria

1.1 Only applications from South African citizens will be considered.
1.2 The main criterion for the selection of application is financial need.
1.3 Bursary applications are invited from individuals who aim to read towards any undergraduate degree for which Edge Business School offers lectures.

1.4 You will only be considered for this bursary if the person(s) who is / are responsible for the account is earning R16 667 per month or less.
1.5 Edge may grant a bursary of between 25% to 75% on the total of the fees. The balance of fees is payable by the account payer.
1.6 Edge Business School decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
