** The Q1 Resolution Revolution Promotion (“Promotion”). The promoter of the Promotion is Samsung Electronics South Africa (Proprietary) Limited, Registration number: 1994/003872/07 and/or its agencies (“Organizer”).
2.1. The Promotion will run from Thursday 1 February 2018 [00h00] to Saturday 31 March 2018 [23h59] (“the Promotion Period”) whilst stocks last, in the Republic of South Africa.
2.2. The duration of the Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Organizer.
3. To be eligible to participate in this Promotion the participant must :
3.1. Be 18 years or older, have a valid South African TV license and be a legal resident of the Republic of South Africa;
3.2. Purchase any of the participating Samsung Televisions set out in the table below through a participating retailer in the Republic of South Africa during the Promotion Period [for a full list of the participating retailers please visit the Organizer’s website .samsung.com/za/offer/.] and retain their proof of purchase to redeem a reward in accordance with the following
3.3. In order to qualify for the higher reward voucher Bundle in each tier, the participant is required to purchase a participating Samsung Television as per clause 3.2 as well as a Samsung Soundbar.
3.4. be a natural person and not a juristic entity, which juristic entity includes but is not limited to a Business to Business [B2B] partner of the Organizer, cross border partner or retail partner of the Organizer. The product must be purchased in the participant’s name; and
3.5.purchase any of the qualifying models from a participating store while stocks last, on or before 31 March 2018.
4.1.All participants who purchase a participating TV as per the table in 3.2, will receive 1 (one) guaranteed Thompsons for Travel (Thompsons) voucher, following a verification process which the participants need to follow step by step (“Offer”). The value of the Offer is dependent on the tier in which the purchased product falls within.
4.2. This Offer is provided at the sole discretion of the Organizer. Every time a participant purchases the specific TV models as per clause 3.2, they are entitled to redeem a reward once they have followed the entry instructions as listed in clause 6.
The Organizer accepts no responsibility should point of sale communication materials be placed on the incorrect or non-participating products or any other communication materials concerning this Promotion. All Offers are based exclusively on clause 3.3 above, per participating product.
4.3.The Offer is not transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash or anything else. In no way can an Offer be deducted off the product purchase price in any retailer.
Redemption of Offer
5.1. To redeem the Thompsons Offer as per clause 3, the participant must do the following :
(a) Step 1 :
** Upon purchase of a qualifying participating SUHD TV within the Promotion Period, the participant receives proof of purchase from the participating retailer and should thereafter send a SMS with the product model code which will be as per the corresponding code in the table above in 3.2 to 45923 [SMS is charged at R1.50. Free SMSes or minutes do not apply], by 31 March 2018 to validate the reward registration. Any SMSes that have not been sent or received by the Organizer by 31 March 2018 will be null and void and the reward will be forfeited.
(b) It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they receive a SMS response within 48 (forty eight) hours of sending the SMS to the Organizer with the details set out above.
** In the event that no response is received, the participant is required to contact the Organizer on 087 056 2157 by 10 April 2018. If the participant does not follow this process and does not receive a response, their entry will not be considered. If the Organizer has not received feedback, the Organizer will assume that the participant has received an SMS response.
** Any participant who has unsubscribed from receiving marketing SMSes from the Organizer will not receive the SMS and it is the participant’s responsibility to notify the Organizer on087 056 2157. The Organizer will not be held responsible for response SMS’s not received by participants.
(c) Step 2 :
** The participant will be sent a response SMS with a unique reference number and a link to a responsive website where they will need to complete an online form with required details. The site will have a built in image upload mechanic for the participant to submit both an image of their proof of purchase and serial number on the actual product only (not on the box).
** All images uploaded need to be clear with all necessary information visible. In the event that an uploaded image does not conform with the Organiser’s requirements the participant will be required to resubmit the correct image.
** The participant must have taken delivery of their product in order to be able to submit the picture of the serial number.
** All online submissions must be completed by 30 April 2018. Any submissions received after 30 April 2018 will be null and void and the reward will be forfeited. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure their online submission is complete in all respects. The responsibility to ensure that they provide the correct information to facilitate the correct entry, rests with the participant.
(d) Step 3 :
** The verification period will take ten (10) working days from the date of the online form submission. If the contents of the participant’s online submission are not verified for whatever reason, the participant will not receive their Offer. The responsibility to ensure that they provide the correct information to facilitate the correct entry rests with the participant.
(e) Once the entry has been verified, the participant will receive a reward registration pin code and a number to call when ready to redeem their reward. The participant calls the dedicated concierge service, quotes the reward registration pin-code and will receive a Redemption Form via e-mail to complete and return with required information and Identity Document.
** The participant will be sent a reference number within ten (10) working days after submitting their redemption form via e-mail and the Thompsons number to call to make their booking. The winner will be required to contact Thompsons to book their holiday. The participant is required to book their holiday within 6 (six) months of receiving the reward registration pin code and attend the holiday within 6 (six) months of booking.
(f) The participant has 6 (six) months from receiving their Offer to redeem the Offer. Any voucher not used within the 6 (six) months will be forfeited. All travel must be completed by 31 May 2019, failing which the Reward will be forfeited and the Consumer shall not have any claim against the Organizer as a result thereof.
(g) Booking of the reward is required 4 (four) weeks in advance. Bookings are subject to limited availability. In the event that dates requested are not available, the participant will be required to provide alternative dates. Cancellations or travel changes after confirmation of booking will not be permitted. However, changes may be made directly with the service provider and all costs incurred as a result will be for the participant’s expense. This includes, but is not limited to any cancellation fees and rebooking fees.
(h) Children under 16 (sixteen) years cannot travel unaccompanied. For persons between the ages of 16 (sixteen) and 21 (twenty one), parental/ guardian approval may be requested. Any additional charges arising from additional passengers will be for the prizewinner’s own account. The Organizer and its agencies cannot be held liable for any changes to flight schedules, routes and destinations or loss of baggage.
(i) The Holiday voucher are governed by the following terms and conditions :
** The terms and conditions set out by Thompsons for Holidays
** Any costs over and above the travel voucher will be for the Participant’s own expense.
** The travel voucher reward can be used for any holiday or package supplied by Thompsons.
** Should the participant not use the full value of the voucher they will forfeit the remaining value of the voucher.
** Any additional charges over and above the value of the Participant’s voucher, will be for the Participant’s own account.
** Any contravention of the bookings terms may result in the voucher becoming null and void.
** The Consumer Reward Redemption Form must be completed and emailed back to the email address provided as a pre-requisite for the reward to be claimed. Forms that are not received within 6 [six] months of the reward registration pin code being issued will not be considered and the reward will be forfeited.
** All bookings must be made 4 [four] weeks prior to the departure date.
** One of the travelers must be the person who purchased the product and the reward cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
** Only 1 (one) voucher may be used per booking.
** Only 1 (one) booking is permitted per voucher
** Information regarding the Promotion that is published on authorized advertising material will also form part of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion.
