Compliance & Research Manager

Job Ref: RECR/CRM001
Reporting to: Head of Operations

Job Purpose :
** To manage research, policy development and implementation, as well as legal compliance within the NFVF and the SA Film Industry.

Qualification & Experience :
** Verifiable Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Law;
** 5 – 8 years relevant experience on managerial level;
** Experience in project management an added advantage;
** Admission as an Attorney or Advocate;
** Experience in creative/cultural industries advantageous;
** Knowledge of Government Regulatory Framework advantageous e.g. PFMA, BBBEE, Preferential Procurement, POPI, PAIA.

Requirements :
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following :
** Drafting legal contracts;
** Implement policy and compliance strategy;
** Implement research strategy;
** Manage stakeholder relations;
** Manage the legal affairs of the NFVF;
** Manage staff;
** Manage departmental budget;
** A developed understanding of the business of film.

Supply Chain Manager

Job Ref: RECR/SCM001
Reporting to : Chief Financial Officer

Job Purpose :
** To provide a framework for supply chain management in order to ensure the appropriate implementation of supply chain procedures in accordance with legislation and Treasury Regulations.

Qualification & Experience :
** Verifiable Degree in Procurement or Logistics and Supply Chain or equivalent;
** 5 – 8 years experience in Procurement and Supply Chain;
** 2 years experience in a managerial position;
** Knowledge of government regulatory framework advantageous e.g. PFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE, Preferential Procurement, POPI and PAIA;
** Experience in government supply chain processes an added advantage.

Requirements :
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following :
** Develop and oversee the implementation of the supply chain management policy and procedure;
** Design and implement procurement strategies;
** Monitor supply chain compliance to ensre that procurement is aligned with National Treasury Regulations;
** Manage staff.

Events Manager

Job Type : 4 months contract

Reporting to : Head: Industry Development and Promotions
Job Purpose :
** To manage and coordinate planned events and activations for the NFVF in the development and promotion of the film and video industry.

Qualification & Experience :
** National Senior Certificate;
** Verifiable tertiary qualification in Marketing/PR an added advantage;
** 8-10 years experience in Marketing and Events Management and planning;
** Managerial experience.

Requirements :
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following :
** Implement the events strategy by determining events to be implemented;
** Manage the development and implementation of project and activation plans, as well as project budgets;
** Manage the coordination of events in order to market South African content;
** A developed understanding of the film industry;
** A good understanding of production budgets, finance plans and schedules;
** An ability to lead a team of people in achieving institutional goals;
** Delivering all job related tasks timeously and to a high standard of quality;
** Willingness to travel locally and abroad;
** Manage staff.
