Eligibility

The Competition is open to South African citizens only and excludes the Promoter, the Promoter’s advertising and promotional agencies, any directors, members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of the Promoter, any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition and the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, parent, child, or sibling, of any of the persons specified aforesaid.

Competition Period

The Competition is open from 1 October 2020 and ends at 12am, midnight on 31 December 2020 (the closing date). Any entries received before 1 October 2020 and after the closing date will not be considered.

How To Enter?

** To enter the Competition entrants are required to purchase any NIVEA SUN product and dial *120*7952# and follow the prompts. Entrants are required to retain their SPAR till slip as proof of purchase.
** Entries are limited to one entry per CLI (caller line identity/cellphone number) per day.
** There are 10 prizes of R10 000 cash to be won. A random electronic draw will take place on 4 January (the draw date) and 10 eligible winners will be drawn from all the valid entries received.
** The eligible winners will be notified telephonically within 2 (two) weeks of the draw date and they will be required to verify their details, submit the till slip evidencing the purchase of the products as per 8 above, and to provide their South African ID number and banking details.
** The Promoter will attempt to contact an eligible winner 3 (three) times over a 72 (seventy two) hour period on the cell phone number used to enter. If an eligible winner cannot be contacted, the chance to win a prize will be forfeited and a backup eligible winner will be drawn and these same terms and conditions shall apply.
** Eligible winners will have 72 (seventy two) hours from the date on which they were contacted by the Promotor, to verify their details, submit the till slip evidencing the purchase of the products as per 8 above, and to provide their South African ID number and banking details, falling which; the chance to win a prize shall be forfeited and a backup eligible winner will be drawn and these same terms and conditions shall apply.

Contest Terms

** The eligible prize winners may be required to sign an indemnity. Failure to sign the indemnity shall result in the prize being forfeited.
** All risks and ownership of the prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of The Promoter’s obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the prizes shall terminate.
** The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the entrants and eligible winners for entering the Competition or in claiming any prizes, where applicable.
** All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by the Promoter, and will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition and in line with applicable legislation.
** User data collected via entry for this Competition will be stored for as long as it is legally required to and in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, www.nivea.co.za/privacy-policy
** Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the Promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).
** By entering the Competition, entrants acknowledge that the Competition will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the CPA. Qualifying entrants undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the Promoter to comply with their obligations under the CPA.
** The Promotor’s decision(s) shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
