Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is running the Vodacom “Kaizer Chiefs CAF Final” Competition (the “Competition”) on the Vodacom USSD platform.

Competition Period

The Competition runs for ten (10) days only from 19h00 on Wednesday, 7 July 2021 to 23h59 on Saturday, 17 July 2021.

Eligibility

The Competition is only open to subscribers on the Vodacom network and who are residing in South Africa and whose accounts are in good standing.

How to Participate?

To enter, entrants will have to
1. During the Competition period, recharge their Vodacom accounts with a minimum of twelve Rand (R12) and send their unique recharge pin or reference number to *120*123# (entry costs 20 cents per 20 seconds) using the USSD platform. Mobile network operator data costs may apply.

2. Daily entries will not be carried over to subsequent daily draws.

Prizes

** Each day during the Competition, one (1) lucky daily entrant who enters on a particular day of the Competition using the Vodacom USSD platform, stands a chance to win ten thousand Rand (R10,000) and a Kaizer Chiefs jersey valued at no less than nine hundred rand (R900). In total, there will be ten (10) lucky daily winners.

** In addition, and only if Kaizer Chiefs win the CAF Champions League Final, an additional nine (9) entrants stand a chance to also win ten thousand Rand (R10,000) each at the conclusion of the CAF Champions League Final scheduled to take place on Saturday, 17 July 2021.

If Kaizer Chiefs win the CAF Champions League Final, there will be a grand total of nineteen (19) winners (ten (10) lucky daily winners and nine (9) league final winners).

Terms & Conditions

** Vodacom will randomly select daily winners (and league final winners, if applicable) by means of an electronic randomiser, from all eligible entries which meet the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.

** If selected as a winner, entrants must send the requested contact details and banking details within one (1) day of being contacted by Openfield, Vodacom’s representative agency for the Competition.

i. Participants must be in possession of a valid South African identity document or permanent residence permit or temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months for the Republic of South Africa and valid at the End Date.

ii. The cash prizes will be paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and winners are required to have a valid bank account in a South African bank.

** Only entries received during the Competition period as stipulated in clause 1 above will qualify as potential winners.

** The Competition is only open to natural persons. Entries received from business accounts held by legal persons (amongst others Corporates and SMEs, etc.) are excluded from participating and winning in the Competition.

** The judges’ decision on any aspect of the Competition including the allocation of the prizes will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
** The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.

** Vodacom shall request the winners’ consent in writing to their image and/or likeness being used and published by Vodacom in connection with the Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after they have been announced as winners. The winners may decline the use of their image and/or likeness by Vodacom.
