1. Working Foreman
Purpose of Position:
The incumbent will be responsible for repairing tractors and implements in the workshop. It is important for the incumbent to adhere to set targets, and to deliver exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
** Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction;
** Diagnostic analysis, fault finding and assistance with customers’ technical related problems;
** Prepare accurate quotations for clients related to repair and maintenance;
** Implementation and adherence to occupational safety standards;
** Control of stock i.e. determine parts availability for work that needs to be done;
** General administrative duties which will also include: warranty claims, job cards, timesheets and logbooks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
** Qualified Tractor or Diesel Mechanic;
** Valid driver’s license;
** Willingness to work irregular hours at certain times.
Knowledge & Experience:
** Solid experience regarding New Holland farming equipment;
** Basic knowledge regarding precision farming instruments;
** Three year’s experience in a workshop environment (preferably in the agricultural environment);
** Experience in supervising staff.
