What is My French Film Festival Contest?
French Institute of South Africa, represented by its delegated authorising officer, François Allain, organizes every day, from January 09th to 20th 2023 inclusive, a free contest with no obligation to purchase, with a random draw, entitled “My French Film Festival 2023 – South Africa Contest”. This contest is open to any person over the age of eighteen years and is a resident in South Africa. Participate and Win 10GB to watch MyFrenchFilmFestival 2023 films!
Who can participate in the My French Film Festival Contest?
** This game contest is open to any person over the age of eighteen (18) years (hereinafter the “Participant(s)”), who is criminally liable, and is a resident in South Africa.
** Members of the management and staff of IFAS and its distributors (Alliances and French establishments in South Africa) and their families are not eligible to participate. As a general rule, any person participating directly or indirectly in the implementation of this game is excluded from this right of participation.
** Participation in the game implies the full and complete acceptance of the rules and their application by IFAS, which rules in the last resort on any disputed case and any difficulty of interpretation.
** If it is found that a participant has registered, for the same person or household, several times, only the first registration will be taken into account, the others will be canceled.
** The Participant is informed and accepts that the information entered in the registration form is proof of his/her identity. The information entered by the Participant is binding on him/her as soon as it is validated. The Organiser reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the data provided by the Participant.
** The Participant undertakes to complete in good faith the registration form made available to him/her and to provide accurate information to the Organiser. The Participant must fill in all the input fields, except those mentioned as not being mandatory.
** The Organiser reserves the right to carry out the necessary checks and to invalidate entries that are incorrect, incomplete, counterfeit or made in contravention of these rules.

This game is accessible via the internet on the website www.facebook.com, https://www.instagram.com/franceinsouthafrica/, www.twitter.com, www.whatsapp.com on IFAS’ page and within the event in the post “Contest – My French Film Festival, South Africa” for anyone with a Facebook account.
Duration:
** The contest takes place from the 09th to the 20th of January 2023.
** No claim may be made against the Organiser by a Participant who has been unable to connect due to a temporary technical problem on the game’s web pages.
** The Organiser reserves the right, if necessary, to modify, extend or cancel this period without notice, without incurring any liability in this respect.
How to Participate in the My French Film Festival Contest?
To take part in the competition “My French Film Festival 2023 in South Africa”, all you need to do is:
** Go to the Facebook website, then to the post ” My French Film Festival 2023 – South Africa ” on the official IFAS page : page officielle de l’IFAS to go to the Instagram website (official page of the embassy), then to the post ” My French Film Festival 2023 – South Africa ” of the official page of IFAS: https://www.instagram.com/franceinsouthafrica/
** Go to the Twitter website, then to the post “My French Film Festival 2023 – South Africa” on the official IFAS page: https://twitter.com/IF_SouthAfrica to participate by answering the question, fill in the registration form, that you will find on the link, and filling in the mandatory fields to validate your participation. A total of 3 winners will be designated at the end of the competition by drawing lots.
** This game is not managed or sponsored in any way whatsoever by Facebook.
** Under no circumstances Facebook will have access to the personal information of the participants, the Organizer is the only holder during the duration of the contest.
Endowment:
** A random draw will be made by the Organiser on Monday the 23rd of January 2023.
** This random draw among the Participants will designate the 3 winners of 10 GB of data to enjoy MyFrenchFilm Festival online.
** Any entry made outside the game period referred to in Article 4 will be regarded as invalid. Any false declaration or erroneous and/or incomplete declaration by a winner will be considered void and will result in the disqualification of the Participant and the prize being re-entered along the random.
Prizes of My French Film Festival Contest
The prize is composed of:
** 3 prizes of 10 GB of data each to enjoy the films on the website myfrenchfilmfestival.com.
** My French Film Festival will take place from the 13th of January to the 13th of February 2022 online on the dedicated platform.
** The value of each prize for 10GB of data is indicated in the annex.
Note:
** Any costs and expenses not included in the above-mentioned prize are not the responsibility of IFAS but of the winner.
** The winners will be personally informed by email no later than five (5) days after the end of the competition.
** Without a written response from the winner within 72 hours following confirmation of his/her win, the French Institute reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner. No message will be sent to the unsuccessful competitors.
** The data prizes will be sent directly to the mobile phone number communicated, during the week of 23rd January 2022.
** All prizes will be sent to the winners by February the 2nd,2023.
** The Organiser reserves the right, if circumstances beyond its control so require or, more generally, for any reason whatsoever, to modify the prize, without its liability being incurred as a result.
** IFAS reserves the right to replace the prize with a prize of at least equivalent value in the event of unavailability or for any reason whatsoever.
** The prize cannot be exchanged or reimbursed. No compensation in cash or credit will be granted.
** The prize may be transferred to a third party by decision of the winner, who will inform IFAS in writing.
** Any fraud or attempted fraud of any kind will result in the exclusion of the participant as well as the loss of his or her winnings if applicable.
** The organising company reserves the right to take legal action against any person contravening these rules.
