What is Vodacom Staff Competition?

Vodacom (Pty) Ltd and Vodacom Payment Services (Pty) Ltd is giving you the opportunity to enter the “Internal VodaPay Competition whereby you stand a chance to win a deposit into your VodaPay Wallet.Three winners during each month shall be eligible to win a cash deposit into their VodaPay wallet. The Competition is open for entries from 16th June 2022 to 16th March 2023.

Eligibility of Vodacom Staff Competition

You will only be eligible to enter the Competition if you:
** are a natural person that is 18 years or older;
** enter the Competition during the Competition Period;
** have consented to these Terms and Conditions; and
** are using SIM a card that has been RICA registered in terms of the relevant South African legislation.

How to Enter in the Vodacom Staff Competition?

1. In order to stand a chance of winning, you must:
** Have downloaded the VodaPay App and registered.
** Answer competition questions on the VodaPay App.
2. There are no additional charges for participating in the Competition apart from the standard data costs to register a valid entry. Standard data costs apply as per the user’s Service Provider and existing price plan for data usage.
3. Vodacom shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the winners for entering the Competition or in claiming any prizes, where applicable.
4. Data transfer speeds are not guaranteed and are dependent on network availability and utilisation.

Prizes of Vodacom Staff Competition

1. Three winners during each month shall be eligible to win a cash deposit into their VodaPay wallet (the “Prize”) for the duration of the Competition Period.

1st prize: R1500
2nd prize: R500
3rd prize: R500

2. The winners will be randomly selected on or after the last calendar day of every month from all eligible entries who meet all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.
3. The verified winners will be notified within seven (7) working days after they have been selected and verified as winners.
4. The winners will be contacted during normal working hours, between 08:00 and 17:00 on business days.
5. Vodacom or its duly authorized agents will use reasonable efforts to contact the winners via social media and or phone call on the contact details provided by the participant when registering to participate in the Competition.
6. The claim for the Prize will be subject to security and validation, and Vodacom reserves the right to withhold the Prize until it is satisfied that the claim by a particular winner is valid.
7. The selected winners must be able to identify themselves, in a manner determined by Vodacom, as the qualifying entrants to the Competition and have to comply with the required validation procedure, determined by Vodacom, in order to claim the Prize, failing which such winner will forfeit the Prize and the Prize will be awarded to the next selected qualifying entrant.
