What is Khula Cape Foundation Dudley D’Ewes Scholarship?

Dudley D’Ewes Scholarship is given by Khula Cape Foundation For Post-honours candidates. Dudley D’Ewes Scholarships up to the value of R10 000 each for post-honours studies are awarded annually. They are open to all in possession of a University Honours degree and candidates must potentially contribute to the fulfilment of the Foundation’s mission. Studies must be undertaken in South Africa. Completed application forms and referee’s reports must be received by the Foundation by noon on the last Friday in September.

Eligibility of Khula Cape Foundation Dudley D’Ewes Scholarship

** They are open to anyone who holds a university honours degree and candidates must potentially contribute to the furtherance of the Foundation’s mission.
** Studies may be undertaken in South Africa only.

How To Apply For Khula Cape Foundation Dudley D’Ewes Scholarship?

** Completed application forms and referee’s reports must be received by the Foundation by noon on the last Friday in September. Supply the form to your referees or inform them where to download it and make sure they meet the closing date deadline.
** Late or incomplete applications will not be processed
** All applications are required to be motivated or supported by at least two referees.

** Successful applicants will be informed of the outcome within 6 weeks of closing date.

Acknowledgement :
The assistance of the Foundation should be acknowledged in the manner described hereunder:
** The entire logo without addition or alteration should appear on any printed material relating to the project supported by the Foundation including programmes, advertising flyers, posters, promotional material, reports and proceedings, audio-visual or power point presentations, or any kind of publication associated with the project.
** Artwork for the logo can be obtained from the Foundation.
** In the case of bricks and mortar projects, permanent exhibitions or in other appropriate instances, the Foundation will supply a logo on natural aluminium with adhesive backing (actual size 100 x 100mm) and the applicant is requested to display it in an appropriate but prominent position.
** The Foundation has no objection to being acknowledged in interviews in the print or electronic media and would welcome copies thereof.
** Successful applicants automatically consent to the publication of their name and project on the Foundation’s website or in any other use or manner that publicises the work of the Foundation.
** Successful applicants may be required to deliver a short lecture at the Foundation’s AGM.
