What is eThekwini Municipality Student Bursary?

Applications are invited for eThekwini Municipality Student Bursaries for undergraduate studies 2024 academic year. The benefits of the bursary include accommodation fees, tuition and examination fees, and a book allowance and a once-off computer allowance in the second year of study (subject to compliance with the agreement). Preference will be given to applicants who have passed at least their first year of studies at a SAQA recognised public institution, and applicants must include their full academic record. Last date of application is 12th January 2024.

Eligibility of eThekwini Municipality Student Bursary

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

** South African citizen;
** Completed Matric OR currently in Matric;
** Strong academic record;
** Studying or plan to study full-time towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the above-mentioned fields of study;
** Studying or planning to study at a SAQA-recognised South African public tertiary institution.
** Acceptance to study for the above qualifications.

Applicants will be required to undergo an assessment as part of the process for consideration.
