** Purchase any of the participating Hinds Spices products (Boxes, Bottles, Curry Powder, Salad Dressing) Southern Grill or Southern Coating.
** Swipe your SPAR Rewards card when making the purchase for an automatic entry.
** Participants may enter as many times as they wish provided that each entry is associated with a separate purchase.

Prizes of SPAR Hinds Spices Competition

** The prize is R300,000.00 (three hundred thousand rands) in cash only.
** The winner will be selected within 4 weeks after the competition closure date (this date is subject to change
** without notice). The Entrant to whom the prize will be awarded will be selected through a random draw.
** The draw will be overseen by an independent accountant or registered auditor or practicing attorney or advocate,
** who will ensure that the Competition is conducted fairly and in compliance with Regulation 11 of the Consumer
** Protection Act (Act No. 68 of 2008) (“the CPA”). The name and contact details of the independent auditor/attorney/advocate will be made available to any person on request.
** The winner will be contacted via telephone, SMS, email or WhatsApp and are required to provide and verify their details such as Identity number, full names and banking confirmation.
** The Promoter (or their agent) will try to contact the winner for 3 (three) consecutive attempts after their name is drawn.
** If the winner cannot be contacted within the aforementioned period, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.
** The winner will be required to attend a formal handover event at the SPAR store where the winner bought their participating items or at the stores agreed to by the winner and the Promoter.
** Should the winner not appear at the formal handover event, the winner will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.
** The winner will sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the prize at the handover event. The prize money will be electronically transferred to the winner’s bank account after the formal handover event.
** Once successfully contacted, the winner must claim the prize within 48 (forty eight) hours by confirming the acceptance of the prize, either telephonically or in writing and by providing a valid copy of their identity document and banking details for verification purposes of the Promoter.
