What is Galito’s Birthday Feast Competition?

Galito’s Birthday Feast Competition 2026 is organised by Galito’s Holdings. The Competition is open to persons aged 18 years or older who are ordinarily resident in either South Africa or Lesotho. Purchase a Galito’s Birthday Feast promotional meal for R299 in South Africa or M299 in Lesotho from a participating Galito’s restaurant during the Competition Period to enter. Participate and win Cash Prizes. Last date of Competition is 30th December 2026.

Eligibility of Galito’s Birthday Feast Competition

** The Competition is open to persons aged 18 years or older who are ordinarily resident in either South Africa or Lesotho.
** Participants must enter the Competition through a qualifying purchase made in the country in which they are ordinarily resident.
** If selected as a winner, the participant must be able to provide valid identification and, where reasonably required, proof of residence confirming their eligibility to enter the Competition.
** A South African winner must be able to provide valid banking details for a South African bank account into which the prize can be paid.

How to Enter in the Galito’s Birthday Feast Competition?

To enter the Galito’s Birthday Feast Competition, participants must:
** Purchase a Galito’s Birthday Feast promotional meal for R299 in South Africa or M299 in Lesotho from a participating Galito’s restaurant during the Competition Period.
** WhatsApp “Galito’s Birthday Feast” to 065 083 0838 or scan the Competition QR code available in-store.
** Follow the WhatsApp prompts and upload a clear and legible photograph of the valid Galito’s till slip relating to the qualifying purchase.
** Retain the original till slip as proof of purchase.

The Birthday Feast consists of:
** 1 Full Chicken;
** 2 of the same qualifying side: 2 Regular Chips, 2 Jumbo Pap or 2 Spicy Rice;
** 1 Chicken Strips & Rice Super Bowl; and
** 1 FREE Galito’s Heritage Sauce.

There is no additional fee charged by Galito’s to enter the Competition. Standard data or network charges may apply when entering via WhatsApp. For qualifying orders placed via the Galito’s App, Uber Eats or Mr D in South Africa, participants must follow the same entry process and upload the Galito’s till slip supplied with their order.

Multiple Entries:
** Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish during the Competition Period, provided that each entry relates to a separate qualifying Birthday Feast purchase and is supported by its own unique and valid Galito’s till slip.
** Each qualifying till slip may only be used for one Competition entry.
** A new qualifying Birthday Feast purchase and unique till slip are required for every additional entry.
** Duplicate entries using the same till slip will not be accepted.
** Participants must retain their original till slips until the applicable weekly winner has been confirmed.

Prizes of Galito’s Birthday Feast Competition

Weekly Entry Periods:
** Entries will be divided into 13 weekly Competition periods, each running from Thursday to Wednesday.
** Each valid entry will only be eligible for the draw relating to the week in which the entry was received.
** Entries will not roll over into subsequent weekly draws.
** All valid qualifying entries received from participating Galito’s restaurants in South Africa and Lesotho during the applicable weekly Competition period will form part of the same weekly draw.
** The first weekly entry period will run from Thursday, 1 October 2026 to Wednesday, 7 October 2026.
** The final weekly entry period will run from Thursday, 24 December 2026 to Wednesday, 30 December 2026.

Weekly Draws and Prizes:
** There will be 13 weekly draws, with one winner selected per draw from all valid qualifying entries received from South Africa and Lesotho during the applicable weekly Competition period.
** South African and Lesotho entries will participate in the same weekly draw. There will not be separate draws for South Africa and Lesotho.
** The country in which the qualifying purchase was made will determine the prize currency payable to the winner.
** A qualifying purchase made in South Africa will result in a prize of R30 000, while a qualifying purchase made in Lesotho will result in a prize of M30 000. A participant’s nationality or citizenship will not determine the prize currency.
** The applicable prize will be paid by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into a valid bank account in the country in which the winner entered the Competition. No physical cash will be paid or handed to the winner.
** There will be a maximum of 13 prizes awarded during the Competition Period.
** Each weekly draw will be conducted using the Foneworx Pick A Winner system, which is subject to quarterly independent audit.
** The Foneworx Pick A Winner system will randomly select winning entries from the pool of all valid qualifying entries received during the applicable weekly Competition period.
