Samsung Reach for the Moon 2016 Promotion :
1. Promotion :
** The Samsung Reach for the Moon 2016 Promotion (“Promotion”).
** The promoter of the Promotion is Samsung Electronics South Africa (Proprietary) Limited, Registration number: 1994/003872/07 and/or its agencies (“Organizer”).

2. Promotion Period :
2.1. The Promotion will run from Monday 7 November 2016 [00h00] to Saturday 31 December 2016 [23h59] [“the Promotion Period”] whilst stocks last, in South Africa.
2.2. The duration of the Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Organizer.
3. To be eligible to participate in this Promotion the Participant must;
3.1. Be 18 years or older and be a legal resident of the Republic of South Africa.
3.2. Must be currently residing in the Republic of South Africa at the date of the commencement of the Promotion Period.
3.3. Purchase any of the following participating Samsung Televisions [refer to the qualifying models in the table below] through a participating retailer in South Africa during the Promotion Period [for a full list of the participating retailers please visit the Organizer’s website] and retain their proof of purchase to redeem a reward
3.4. Be a natural person and not a juristic entity, which juristic entity includes but are not limited to a Business to Business [B2B] partner, cross border partner or retail partner. I.e. The product must be purchased in the consumer’s name.
3.5. Participation in this Promotion excludes the Organizer, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by them or any supplier of goods and services in connection with the Promotion and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates.
3.6. Purchase any of the qualifying models from a participating store while stocks last only before 31 December 2016.
4. All participants who purchase a participating product as per the table in 3.2, will receive one guaranteed reward per purchase following a verification process which the participants need to follow step by step;
4.1. There are seven guaranteed reward categories which will be drawn automatically each week as per an audited validation process consisting of a total of the following during the Promotional Period:
Double 2D NuMetro Movie Tickets :
** The free movie pin code entitles the bearer to two 2D complimentary movie tickets at participating cinemas.
** All other tickets purchased will be for the winner’s own account.
** Participating cinemas are all contracted to participate in the offer. The Organizer, their promoters, agents and distributors cannot be held responsible for any cinema subsequently declining acceptance of the movie voucher for reasons of their own.
** Voucher validity is as stipulated on the movie tickets printed at the Self Service Terminal or TicketLine machine.
Double Coffee Vouchers from Woolworths Coffee Bars valued at R60 :
** All food vouchers are governed the relevant terms and conditions supplied by the brand or store supplying the voucher.
R 150 ABSA Cash Vouchers :
** The free Cash voucher entitles the bearer to R150 via ABSA CashSend
** All winners of the ABSA CashSend voucher are governed by the relevant terms and conditions of ABSA CashSend
** The winner of the voucher will need to follow the below process to receive their cash
** Visit an Absa ATM that offers the CashSend facility and select ‘CashSend’ followed by ‘CashSend Withdrawal’
** Enter the 10-digit reference number that has been sent to your cellphone
** Enter the 6-digit access code, together with the exact amount being sent
** Once the transaction has been verified, the money will be issued to the winner at the ATM
** Only the full amount can be withdrawn
** 30 day validity from the date of receipt of the voucher
** The winner does not have to be an ABSA account holder to be able to redeem the reward
To redeem the rewards as per clauses 4.1 and 4.2 [the “Offers”], as outlined on the point of sale communication material in-store in participating retailers, the participant must do the following :
Step 1 :
** Upon purchase of a qualifying participating Television within the promotional period, the participant receives proof of purchase from the participating retailer and then must send a SMS with the product model code which will be as per the corresponding code in the table above in 3.2 to 48422 [SMS is charged at R1.50.
** Free SMSes or minutes do not apply], by 31 December 2016 to validate the reward registration. Any SMSes that have not been sent and received by the Organizer by 31 December 2016 will be null and void and the reward will be forfeited.
** It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they receive a SMS response within 48 hours of entering the promotion. In the event that no response is received, the participant is required to contact the Organizer on 086 999 0745.
** If the participant does not follow this process and does not receive a response, their entry will not be considered. If the Organizer has not received this request, the Organizer will assume that the participant has received a response.
** Any participant who has unsubscribed from receiving marketing SMSes will not receive the SMS and it is the participant’s responsibility to notify the Organizer. The Organizer cannot be held responsible for SMS’s not received by participants.
Step 2 :
** The participant will be sent a responding SMS with a reference number and email address to send a copy of proof of purchase. The participant is required to send a copy of their proof of purchase with their reference number to the email address provided. The participant must have taken delivery of their product.
** All email submissions must be completed by 31 January 2017. Any email submissions received after 31 January 2017 will be null and void and the reward will be forfeited. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure their online submission is complete in all respects.
Step 3 :
** Once the participant has sent the email with the proof of purchase, the contents of their entry will be evaluated and if all content is correct, their entry will be verified and the participant will be entered into the next weekly allocation draw.
** If the contents of the participant’s online submission are not verified for whatever reason, the participant will not receive their reward. The responsibility to ensure that they provide the correct information to facilitate the correct entry, rests with the participant.
Step 4 :
** Once the proof of purchase has been verified and the participant’s reward has been automatically selected and allocated from the weekly database draw, digital reward winners will receive their vouchers via SMS.
** The participants with the physical prize rewards in the form of Samsung products will be contacted by the concierge service to arrange the delivery of their reward.
