Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) On The Foschini Group – TFG

What are the returns policies?
If you are not happy with your purchase, return it within 30 days, in its original condition together with the invoice and price tag and we will gladly exchange or credit the item. For hygiene reasons, you cannot return toiletries, perishable foods and cosmetics. A separate Returns Policy exists for certain brands of appliances: Breville, Saeco, Nespresso, Kenwood, Kitchenaid, Lavazza & Bosch.

What do I do if my product breaks or is defective?
Six month return policy for defective goods allows you to return goods within six months of date of purchase, provided that :
** The goods must have been used for their intended purpose.
** The goods must have been cared for according to the instruction manual or the wash/care instruction label.

We will either :
** Repair or replace the goods; or
** Give you a refund in the same way that you paid for the goods.

Can I return an item without a slip?
No, to return any goods, you must take your tax invoice and goods to a store. It shows when and where the goods were bought.

Can I return items if I don’t have a receipt?
To return any goods received as a gift, you must take the gift receipt to a store with the goods.

1. I have never in my life experienced such a horrible customer care service, I have been applying for a new account now for 3 weeks. I am told that my application is with validation and I must confirm my net salary after I have submitted my payslips for than 3 times. I spoke to different consultants and they all tell me the same thing. The last one said to me after they remove “sick leave pay and Tax” from my basic they get a negative figure. So, I asked her why would I go to work if I work for negative numbers. These people are so incompetent and stupid, I even gave up.

2. I have a challenge with TFG account, my physical card number is not the same as the one that they notify me as to how much must I pay. This lead to my credit score being red as the credit bureau want the Letter of payment from TFG. I went to the store for assistance but I was never help, I tried to call but I just spend my airtime for nothing. Bear in mind that I paid up the account, I only pay admin fees monthly and my last payment was even over so they are owing me. Anyone out there please assist how can I sort out this as my credit score is red because of this thing.

3. I bought something at exact store in Boksburg, but I reside at Daveyton but, when I go to my nearest exact store to get refund because the staff I bought were on special but the promotion price didn’t go through, so when I visit my nearest shop they refuse to help me because I didn’t purchase at their store, where as its the same store from the one I put my staff. Why can’t they help me?

    I am so disappointed I paid up my account 2021 I was asked to submitt paid up letter I did all that but my name still shows that I am owing . I just need to know what else is needed from my side I can not use my name to buy any where else now

    Just hrve 1 questiin cant ftg group do an exception where a parent has to send his or her child to buy the cloths with a parent account like to give your 18 year old daughter to buy cloths and give her your ID ,Proof if address and card period and she bring also her ID we are working in companies that we reaiy do not have a chance to go and swipe the card fir the child as we also working in retail having traffic load shedding your lunch time end without you reaching the store you just had to go back to work??

    Very disappointed in the TFG account return policy.. Went to exchange the size after it was IBT from other branch to Jabulani Relay…. They send me back to collect my card.. In these trying times and economy so hard, you guys have the nerve to send customers from pillar to post.. Congratulations you have lost a customer for good.

    Burgersfort morone centre,My mom and I were assisted by the wonderful lady called Glenda Mbhihli.Super amazing service there,we needed a winter jacket for my son and they had no size but Glenda made an effort for us to get one from other branches.Lady keep up the good work along with your team 👏👏👌🏾

    I settled my account paid R8000 on April 2023.To my surprise I’m receiving calls saying I must pay R8000 as soon as possible if not they wl take my account to credit bureau.Really I don’t knw what to do people because they call me 3 to 4 times a day sendind messages.Did I kill somebody naa?
    They advice me to send proof of payment ,and I did almost every day.I don’t see gore their emails tfg.co.za is active OR they are working.PLS GUYS DO YOUR WORK.GOD LOVES US ALL.

    I have been sending my proof of payment to cusomerservices [at] tfg.co.ca and payment [at] tfg.co.za. from the 11th of April. My payments is still not reflecting and I am still receiving phone calls to advise that my account has not been paid. I have sent so many emails and I get no reply from anyone, this is pathetic service.

    I went to foschini gamecity Gaborone looking for the remaining balance so that I can clear them up.. They refused to help me out they said for me to recieve that balance its either I pay or they write me the remaining balance. And saying printing that reciept it’s impossible.. I am so disappointed

    To whom it may concern,

    I am a regular patron at your store, today I visited your Gateway branch and I am extremely disappointed with the service I received.

    I purchased a body suit on the 25th of March, due to the body suit being the incorrect size I took it back on Sunday (02 April 2023) to get the correct size. To my surprise the cashier (Lelo) advised that I would not be able to get an alternate size and the body suit cannot be exchanged nor returned. The manager on duty (Shannon) assumed that the hygiene strip was removed. However, the body suit did not have a hygiene strip when I purchased it nor was I advised that the item could not be exchanged/ returned. If I were advised I would have tried the item on before purchasing.

    Now I am stuck with an item that is of no use to me. Furthermore, on my way out the store I took a snap of the body suits hung up as proof that there are no hygiene strips on any of the body suits. It’s really upsetting being made a liar by your manager, implying I removed a hygiene strip that was not there in the first place.

    I am completely dissatisfied and extremely upset with the unsatisfactory level of service with the service at your Gateway store. I expected much more from a prestigious and reputed company of your standard.

    I look forward to a reply and resolution to my problem.

    TFG online has the worst service ever. I ordered 2 luella backpack and i recieved only one it has been a month but i have not yet been refunded and i have been calling them with my own airtime and the 20 minutes wait and emailing them with no response no follow uos what so ever. TFG Grouo you make online shopping a bad experience

    I went to buy at Jet Westgate Mall and the cashier told me she have to update my phone number before I can buy, the little did I know she was opening Jet Club that I didn’t ask for,then I started getting messages about Jet Club was so shocked, I went straight to Jet to ask them who opened it? I didn’t get an answer instead was told they will cancel it, I will get a sms with a reference number that says canceled. till today I haven’t receive any sms. this is a reason I canceled my account with Edcon many years ago, didn’t know that even Tfg can fraud customers. this is a fraud because I’m paying for something I ddnt ask for and they even refusing to cancel it. so disappointed 😞

    Every time i go to relay jeans west street a girl called Nobuntu is always giving me attitude and not returning my change recently she stole 400 which was my change and it didn’t reflect on my slip and her manager did absolutely nothing about it I was made a fool of and ridiculed

    Yesterday I was at markhams campus square to go make a new card as my card wasn’t working (damaged) so I needed a new one the was two ladies working there a one guy they didn’t even have name tags took time from my work drove there and it was for nothing because I didn’t even get the card I waited for an hour and still couldn’t get the card because I don’t think that boy knew what he was doing and his customer service was horrible ended up having to block my account as he miss placed the new card that he was making markhams campus square

    I bought tekkies, with others clothes for my kids. I used to buy at Exact or Foschini but at this as Jet makhado wich I bought at I always think they will change but this time I give up. I will never buy at Jet makhado. Will rather buy at Exact makhado and Foschini.

I have a complain regarding my cellphone I went to Thavhani mall on the 14 of December and my husbanf bought the Huawei Honor 50 lite as my birthday present, I was going to Durban on that day two days later while I was taking my video there were no sound sometime on top of the screen while am on whatsapp it the screen shakes.
