To apply for your BEE Verification, you have 2 options available to you :
Option 1 : Apply for a BEE EME Certificate
The documentation and requirements we need in order to provide you with a Bee Certificate are as follows :
** Company Registration documents
** ID’s of all directors/members

** Proof of annual turnover (please make use of one of the following): (only for businesses that have been registered for more than 12 months)
** Latest Financial Statements (2016)
** Bank statements for the past 12 months
** A sworn affidavit to state your company’s annual turnover
** Letter from a registered accountant stating that your annual turnover is less than the threshold for your sector code.

Shareholder certificates for all shareholders (if your company is a (Pty) Ltd) :
** Share certificates as issued with your company registration documents

** In the event that you were not issued with share certificates, we can assist you with compiling them at a cost of R 190 per certificate, or alternatively you can make use of an affidavit to declare each shareholder / director’s percentage (%) of share in the company.

** An Affidavit declaring your industry

Turnaround Time :
** On receipt of all relevant documents, as listed above, I will reply to your email to confirm receipt, or ask for additional information.
** Once I have confirmed that everything is correct it takes approximately 24hrs to issue you with the BEE Certificate.
** To apply of or Bee Certificate, simply complete our application form and we will provide you with list of requirements we need.
** The cost for a BEE Exempt Certificate is R390.

Option 2: Apply for a BEE Affidavit
** BEE Requirements as from the 1 May 2015

** Please take note that the BEE legislation changed on 1 May 2015, stating that the only requirement for an Exempt Micro Enterprise (EME) in the General Sector, is a sworn Affidavit and no longer a BEE certificate. We can help facilitate you with the Affidavit at an admin cost of R180.00.

** If you fall under any of the other sector codes you will require a BEE Certificate. Please find Sectoral Charter Codes below. Please be aware that the BEE levels for the affidavit have also changed.

** If you were previously a Level 3, you will now be rated a Level 1 or 2 on your Affidavit (depending on the percentage of black ownership).

Sectoral Charter Codes :
** Turnover Threshold –R 10million
** General Sector – Only requirement is a BEE Affidavit

Turnover Threshold – R5million :
** Agriculture – Cert
** FSC (Financial Sector) – Cert
** Tourism

** ICT (Information and Communication Technology) – Cert
** Property (Service Based) – Cert
** MAC (Media, Advertising and Communication) – Cert
** Construction (Contractors) – Cert
** Transport – Cert
** Forestry – Cert

Other : (requires a BEE Cert)
** Construction (BEP – Build Environment Professionals) eg. Architects – Turnover threshold R1.5million
** Property (Asset Based) – Turnover Threshold R30million
** Property (Estate Agents/Brokers) – Turnover Threshold R2.5million.
