In order to use DeedsWeb, two things are necessary :
** Firstly, your browser software should meet the minimum requirements in order to display the data properly : and

Registration :
** If you are a new user, please register first.

Terms & Conditions

Online Services :
** Our online product and service are subject to registration procedures and approvals, which we may accept or reject at our sole discretion.

Accounts will be activated within 48 hours on receipt of registration fee and verification of details included with the following documents :
** Copy of identity document
** Proof of residence
** Contacts of two credit references
** Banking details (copy of bank statement or cancelled cheque)
** Registration document (in case of CC / Company)

Provision Of Services :
** All information on this site is only intended to provide you with general information about us, our products, services and objectives.

Charges :
** The charges are payable by the subscriber to Chief Registrar of Deeds for the provision or facilitation of the services which shall be stipulated in the schedule of fees as published in the Government Gazette from time to time.

Payment

** All payments must be effected within 7 (seven) days of statement date.
** Should the subscriber send any monies, cheques by means of the postal services, then the postal authority shall be deemed to be the agent of the subscriber and the subscriber shall bear all risk of loss, theft and delay in. The subscriber shall draw all trust cheques payable to “Chief Registrar of Deeds and marked “not transferable”.

** The subscriber agrees that payment shall only have been made to Chief Registrar of Deeds when the monies remitted by the subscriber have been received into Chief Registrar of Deeds’s bank account.

** Should any form of payment be returned unpaid or stopped for whatsoever reason Chief Registrar of Deeds will exercise its right to suspend the provision of the services due to late or non-payment of any monies due in terms hereof by the subscriber, then the subscriber shall pay an administration charge as may be levied by CRD from time to time for each such non-payment.

** All arrear payments shall attract the suspension of the service, interest on the outstanding amount and a reconnection fee. Activation of suspended accounts will be within 48 hours after receipt of payment and verification of details has been done.

Transation Limit :
** Chief Registrar of Deeds shall be entitled in its sole and absolute discretion from time to time to determine and amend the transaction limit which may be used and/or accumulated by the subscriber during each period and the Chief Registrar of Deeds shall be entitled to suspend the services should the subscriber exceed such maximum amount.

Cancellation

** Any notice of termination or any other notice whatsoever by the subscriber to the Chief Registrar of Deeds shall be in writing by post and email.

** Termination of this agreement does not relieve the subscriber form the liability to pay charges for the initial period plus notice period.

Sign on (Log on) :
** If your application to register as a DeedsWeb user is accepted, you will be supplied with a user name and password.
** If you are a registered DeedsWeb user and already have a user name and password, you can proceed directly to the sign on section.
