** Builders and The Home Channel are looking the new face of DIY!

** Calling all DIY guys out there… Do you fancy yourself as the sharpest tool in the shed? If you know your way around a toolbox, and have a passion for building, making and fixing things around the home then you might just be what we are looking for!!
** Are you between the ages of 25 and 45, based in Gauteng and proficient in all aspects of DIY? If you are, then you stand the chance of being our BUILDERS DIY presenter for 2017!
** The successful applicant will not only become a BUILDERS presenter on The Home Channel, but will also host workshops at BUILDERS stores around the country as the ultimate BUILDERS fan!
How to Apply
** First, we need to see what you’re made of, so find a friend who can handle a camera (or a phone) and get them to record you working on a project while you tell us how it’s done.
** Take a look at the pro’s for inspiration. Once you’re done, load your audition to YouTube so that we can take a look.
** Then, we need a bit of detail about you, so please fill in the application form below and include a clear face pic as well as the YouTube link of your audition clip.
** We’d also like to see some of the work that you’ve done, so pick 4 photos of projects that you have created to upload with your application.
** Send your completed application together with your YouTube link and the required photos to presentersearch AT thehomechannel.co.za
Terms and Conditions
** Applicants must be South African citizens.
** Applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 45.
** Applications must upload their video to their own personal YouTube account/channel and the link for their uploaded video is to be provided in the required section above and/or in the email body.
** Should they be successful, applicants acknowledge that they will be required and are able to take time off work for filming purposes – shoot days will be full days.
** Should they be successful, applicants acknowledge that they will be required and are able to make themselves available for workshops and demonstrations at BUILDERS stores around the country on dates and at times to be agreed upon between themselves and BUILDERS.
** The successful applicant will enter into a contract with BUILDERS for all work to be done in association with BUILDERS and The Home Channel.
** Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an official screen test with The Home Channel.
** The final selection and decision rests with The Home Channel and BUILDERS and no reasons will be provided for such decisions.
