Nedbank Simplybiz Competition

1. The promoter :
** The promoter of the competition is Nedbank Limited (‘promoter’).

Competition Period

** The competition ends on the 26th May 2017, at 24:00.

Therefore results would need to be drawn for each item and for all users who first reached and maintained by closing date:
2.1. 100% in their business & individual profiles
2.2. 100% in the Helping Hero badge
2.3. 100% in the Discussion starter badge
2.4. 100% in the SimplyBiz entrepreneur badge

Eligibility

 Who can enter the competition :
** Registered members on the relaunched SimplyBiz site who are over the age of 18 and reside in the Republic of South Africa are automatically entered in the competition (‘participants’).

Who may not enter the competition :
The following persons are not allowed to enter in the competition :
4.1. the directors or members and employees of the promoter, or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family;

4.2. the promoter’s agents, consultants and marketing service providers; and
4.3. the company who has supplied the prize, where applicable.

How the competition Works

5.1. You will be rewarded for your activity on the site as described in more details below.

5.2. You can join the competition at any time during the competition period by registering on the relaunched SimplyBiz site.
5.3. Your results will be evaluated over the competition period for the whole period.

5.4. To stand a chance to win participants (registered members) must reach 100% for their Entrepreneur badge and have 100% for this badge on the closing date of the competition. They will achieve this by reaching 100% for the three badges described below. Each badge makes up 33,3% of the 100% total. Please see the explanation below:

Helping Hero badge :
** You will receive 2% for every like and lose 2% for every dislike.
** Therefore a total of 50 likes will give you 100%.

Discussion Starter badge :
** To start a discussion you must ask a question or post a comment that receives at least five unique likes or subcomments.

** None of your comments on a discussion you started will count. Comments from different threads will not be considered.
** Each comment in a thread is worth 2%. Therefore a total of 10 discussions x 10% per discussion will make up 100%.

Prizes

6.1. Altogether 22 participants who meet the competition requirements stand a chance to win one of the following :
6.1.1. the Nedbank Ultimate Business Companion book valued at R350,00;
6.1.2. a four-month subscription with VIGO Brand Management (Pty) Ltd (VIGO) for a website build or makeover to the value of R10 000,00*;

6.1.3. office equipment or technology to the value of R15 000,00 (VAT included); or
6.1.4. one opportunity to win a 30-second filmed and edited YouTube advert for your company valued at R35 000,00.

6.2. No prize may be altered or transferred, and no monetary allocations will be made.
6.3. Prizes will only be awarded to members who remain members for the duration of the competition.

7 Selection of prizewinners :
7.1. Participants who met the competition requirements will be entered in a lucky draw, which will take place on Friday, 21 April 2017, at the offices of the promoter at Nedbank 135 Rivonia Campus, 135 Rivonia Road, Sandown, Sandton.

7.2. The draw will take place by means of an automated, programmed system analysis run on SimplyBiz.co.za.
7.3. In the event of a dispute the decision of the competition judges will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7.4. The prizewinners will be contacted telephonically and by email by the promoter. If a prizewinner cannot be reached by Friday, 28 April 2017, there will be a further draw on Friday, 5 May 2017, with a similar approach being used.

7.5. Prizewinners in the 21 April 2017 draw must redeem their prizes by Friday, 5 May 2017.
