Features of Amended Senior Certificate Exam

The Amended Senior Certificate (ASC) Examinations is a South African qualification that is equivalent to the National Senior Certificate (NSC) but is designed for adult learners who did not complete their high school education. The ASC has several unique features, including:

Flexible Entry Requirements:
The ASC is designed to be accessible to adult learners who did not complete their high school education. As such, the entry requirements are flexible, and learners can apply to write the exams based on their previous education and work experience.

Modular Assessment:
The ASC is assessed through a modular system, which means that learners can choose to write one or more modules at a time. This allows learners to progress at their own pace and focus on specific subjects that they may need to improve.
