Promoter :
** This competition is promoted by takealot.com (reg. no. 2010/020248/07 (“takealot.com”, “us”, “we” or “our”).

Competition Period :
** The competition runs from 00h00am on 6 February 2017 until 16h00 on 5 March 2017 (the “Competition Period”).
** No entries will be accepted after 16:00pm on 5 March 2017.

Who can enter:
You are entitled to participate in this competition if
(i) you are at least 18 years old / reside in South Africa;
(ii) it is lawful for you to be awarded the prize.

** You may NOT participate if you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition, or if you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to takealot.com or any other entity which directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by takealot.com, or if you are any of the aforementioned persons’ spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner.

How to enter :
** You can enter this competition by purchasing any Xiaomi Smartphone on takealot.com during the Competition Period.

How many times you can enter :
** Each purchase you make during the competition period that contains a minimum of one Xiaomi smartphone gives you one entry into the weekly competition draws. You are allowed to enter as many times as you like.

Entry fees :
** There are no additional entry fees to participate in the competition, and no additional charges involved in acting as set out in section 4 above.

Prize :
** One (1) of Four (4) R5000 Takealot.com Vouchers that will be issued to customers in the form of Takealot.com store credit.
** The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

Winner :
** Winners will be chosen Mondays during the competition period by way of randomised computer draw.
** Takealot.com will select a winner who has taken the steps set out in section 4 above, is in compliance with these rules and in takealot.com’s sole discretion.

** The winner will be announced Mondays on takealot.com’s Twitter pages after 16:00pm and we will send the winner an e-mail to request his/her name, surname, email address, ID number, delivery address and telephone number (the “Participant Information”).

** We will make two direct attempts to obtain such information in a 48 hour period. Once we have received this information, we will deliver the prize to the winner in 7 to 14 working days, subject to section 10 below.

** Proof of identity may be required upon delivery. Regarding the application of these rules and the selection of a winner in terms hereof, takealot.com’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with a competition participant other than the winner.
