Competition Period :
** The competition runs from 27 January 2017 until 2 March 2017 (the “Competition Period”).
** No entries will be accepted after midnight on 1 March 2017.

Who can enter:
You are entitled to participate in this competition if
(i) you are at least 18 years old / reside in South Africa;
(ii) it is lawful for you to be awarded the prize.

** You may NOT participate if you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition, or if you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to takealot.com or any other entity which directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by takealot.com, or if you are any of the aforementioned persons’ spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner.

How to enter :
** You can enter this competition by pre-ordering Wilbur Smith’s War Cry on takealot.com. Pre-orders close at midnight on 1 March 2017.

How many times you can enter :
** Each War Cry pre-order you make during the competition period gives you one entry into the weekly competition draws.
** You are allowed to enter as many times as you like.

Entry fees :
** There are no additional entry fees to participate in the competition, and no additional charges involved in acting as set out in section 4 above.

Prize :
** The prize is a Wilbur Smith books hamper valued at R1000.00.
** It includes Desert God, Golden Lion, Predator and Pharaoh.
** The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

Winner :
** The winner will be chosen by way of randomised computer draw. Takealot.com will select a winner who has taken the steps set out in section 4 above, is in compliance with these rules and in takealot.com’s sole discretion.
** The winner will be announced on takealot.com’s Twitter page on 2 March 2017 and we will email the to request his/her name, surname, email address, ID number, delivery address and telephone number (the “Participant Information”).

** We will make two direct attempts to obtain such information in a 48 hour period.
** Once we have received this information, we will deliver the prize to the winner in 7 to 14 working days, subject to section 10 below.

** Proof of identity may be required upon delivery.
** Regarding the application of these rules and the selection of a winner in terms hereof, takealot.com’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with a competition participant other than the winner.
