Competition Period :
** The competition runs daily from Monday, 22 May until Saturday, 27 May 2017 (the “Competition Period”).
** No entries will be accepted after 16:0opm on Saturday, 27 May 2017.

Who can enter :
** You are entitled to participate in this competition if
(i) you are at least 18 years old / reside in South Africa;
(ii) it is lawful for you to be awarded the prize.

** You may NOT participate if you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition, or if you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to takealot.com or any other entity which directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by takealot.com, or if you are any of the aforementioned persons’ spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner.

How to enter :
** To enter this competition you must find the “Birthday Tweet” as pinned to the top of the @TAKEALOT Twitter profile, then click on the “Tweet #HAPPYBIRTHDAY” button below the tweet to post your entry to your own profile any time during the Competition Period.
** Do not alter the auto-populated text in the entry tweet otherwise your entry won’t count.
** To participate in this competition you require a Twitter profile.

How many times you can enter :
** You are allowed to enter as many times as you like during the Competition Period.

Entry fees :
** There are no entry fees to participate in the competition, and no additional charges involved in acting as set out in section 4 above.

Prize :
** We’re giving away one (1) R1000 Takealot voucher every day of the Competition Period.
** One winner per day.
** Six (6) R1000 Takealot Vouchers in total.
** The prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

Winner :
** Winners will be drawn daily after 16:00pm during the competition period by way of randomised computer draw from all valid entries received to date.
** Takealot.com will select a winner who has taken the steps set out in section 4 above, is in compliance with these rules and in takealot.com’s sole discretion.

** The winner will be announced daily after 16:00pm daily on takealot.com’s Twitter profile and we will send the winner a message to request his/her name, surname, email address, ID number and telephone number (the “Participant Information”). We will make two direct attempts to obtain such information in a 48 hour period.

** Once we have received this information, we will email your the prize to the winner in 1-3 working days, subject to section 10 below. Proof of identity may be required before issuing prizes.

** Regarding the application of these rules and the selection of a winner in terms hereof, takealot.com’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with a competition participant other than the winner.
