There are two ways to open a Spitz account: online or in person at a Spitz store.
To open a Spitz account online:
1. Go to the Spitz website and click on the “Open an Account” button.
2. Fill out the online application form. You will need to provide your personal information, employment details, and proof of residence.
3. Upload your latest three months’ payslips or bank statements.
4. Click on the “Submit” button to complete your application.
To open a Spitz account in person:
1. Visit your nearest Spitz store.
2. Speak to a customer service representative and request to open a Spitz account.
3. Provide the necessary documentation, such as your ID book, proof of residence, and payslips or bank statements.
4. The customer service representative will process your application and let you know if you have been approved.
Here are the requirements to open a Spitz account:
** You must be at least 18 years old.
** You must have a valid South African ID book or Smart card.
** You must be employed and earn at least R1000 per month.
** You must have proof of residence that is not older than 3 months.
** You must upload your latest three months’ payslips or bank statements.
