Minimum Requirements :
** B.Com/Diploma with Accounting level 3
** Completed Articles
** Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a finance department
** Computer Literacy (MS Excel and MS Word)
** Experience in working in a medium sized computerised accounting system
** Exposure to education sector would be advantageous
** Good administrative, organisational and data management skills
** Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and fluency in at least 2 official languages (English/ Afrikaans/Xhosa)
** Valid driver’s license

Other Requirements :
** South African citizenship
** Work overtime, when required

Key Performance Areas :
** Management of the Finance and Bursaries staff
** Manage the accounting systems of the College
** Budget preparation, management and control
** Monthly financial reporting to various stakeholders
** Ensure that departmental deadlines are met
** Manage the external audit process

Finance Coordinator :
Salary Level 7: R 226 611 per annum (Plus Structured Benefits)
Minimum Requirements :
** B.Comm/B.Tech with Accounting level 2 / or relevant work experience
** Minimum of 3 year’s finance supervisory experience
** Computer literacy (MS Excel and MS Word)
** Experience in working in a medium sized computerized accounting system
** Exposure to Education Sector would be advantageous
** Good administrative, organizational and data management skills
** Excellent communication skills ( written and verbal ) and fluency in at least 2 official languages English / Afrikaans / Xhosa
** Valid Code EB driver’s license
** South African Citizenship
** Work overtime, when required

Key Performance Areas :
** Supervise the Fixed Asset, Creditors and Cashbook Departments
** Processing of journals
** Perform and assist with general ledger reconciliations
** Manage the physical asset verification.
** Investigate and implement improvements in the existing systems

Bursary Coordinator :
Salary Level 6: R 183 558 per annum (Plus Structured Benefits)

Minimum Requirements :
** Grade 12 with Maths/Accounting as a passed subject and/or relevant tertiary qualification.
** 3 Years appropriate experience in a financial environment.
** Supervisory and people management skills,
** Computer Literacy (MS Excel ( Intermediate ) and MS Word)
** Experience in working in a medium sized computerised accounting system
** Exposure to education sector would be advantageous
** Good administrative, organisational and data management skills
** Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and fluency in at least 2 official languages (English/ Afrikaans/Xhosa)
** Ability to work under pressure
** Valid driver’s license

Key Performance Areas :
** Supervision and training of Bursaries staff
** Liaison with National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS)
** Monthly reporting to stakeholders
** Reconciliation of bursary applications
** Ensure that departmental deadlines are met
** All other functions related to the student Financial Aid function of the College.
