1. Kindly help with the procedure to download the certificate. We have done the renewal so, we can’t upload the certificate on your website. Your assistance will be highly appreciated as we desperately in need of the certificate for tender submission.

2. We forgot to submit our new tax pin by the month of April and our CIDB is suspended. We paid the balance of R501.60 as email from CIDB sent the message of the balance and we emailed our new tax pin together with the proof of payment on July by up to now our CIDB is still suspended.

CIDB monitors compliance with its regulations, standards, and codes through inspections, audits, and investigations to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulations.

Industry Research and Development:
CIDB conducts research and development initiatives to inform policy, regulations, and strategies for the construction industry, and promotes innovation and best practices.

There are two ways to track the status of your CIDB contractor application

Online:
1) Go to the CIDB website: https://www.cidb.org.za/
2) Click on the “Register of Contractors” tab.
3) Enter your company registration number or your ID number (if you are a sole proprietor) in the required field.
4) Click on the “Search” button.
5) Your application status will be displayed on the results page.

Call the CIDB call center:
1) Call the CIDB call center at 0861 100 2432.
2) Provide the CIDB officer with your company registration number or your ID number (if you are a sole proprietor).
3) The CIDB officer will be able to tell you the status of your application.
