How To Check UNISA Exam Result?

Exam results are made available on following platforms :
SMS :
Kindly forward the following message to the following MTN number :
** 083 1421 0119.
** Results [space]+student number
** If there are results available, a SMS containing your results will be sent to you.

** Register on myUnisa and indicate on your application if you would like to receive your results by email.

** Hard copies of the examination results are mailed to each candidate after the official date of release/printing.

Completion of qualification :
Please note that confirmation of completion of qualifications for students who wrote examinations in
** Jan/Feb 2016 will be made available as from the end of April 2016;
** May/June 2016 will be made available as from the end of August 2016 and
** Oct/Nov 2016 will be made available as from the end of Jan 2017.

Release of Result :
** Final examination result letters will be printed and mailed to students on dates above.
** Final examination results are being released as they become available on the myUnisa web site and on the MTN (VRS).

** No results will be released to a candidate before he / she has returned all books borrowed from the University Library and settled any outstanding fees.
** No results will be given telephonically by academics or administrative staff .
** No timetables for supplementary exams will be made available if fees or library books are owed.

** October / November 2016 – 15 December 2016

Assignment results :
Normal assignments :
Assignment results can be obtained by :
** logging into your myUnisa to view your results online OR
** Enquire via email to the email address: assign AT unisa.ac.za (indicate your student number in the subject heading)

Portfolio assignments :
** As part of your assessment you may be asked to submit a Portfolio.
** A portfolio can be part of your formative assessment, which means that your portfolio assignments are evaluated as part of your learning process and results will be available once marked,
** or
** part of your summative assessment, which is a final evaluation that takes place in the form of an assignment and no results will available until the examination results are made available.

Additional Generic Procedure

There are two ways to check your UNISA exam result:

1. Through UNISA’s online results system
1. Go to the UNISA website.
2. Click on the “My Academic Records” tab.
3. Enter your UNISA student number and password.
4. Click on the “Results” tab.
5. Select the study period for which you want to view your results.
6. Click on the “View Results” button.

2. Through UNISA’s SMS notification service:
1. Register for UNISA’s SMS notification service.
2. Send an SMS to 45678 with the following format:
UNISA <space> Your student number <space> Your ID number
For example, if your student number is 123456789 and your ID number is 9876543210, you would send the following SMS:
UNISA 123456789 9876543210
You will receive an SMS with your UNISA exam results.

Here are some additional tips for checking your UNISA exam result:
** Make sure you have your UNISA student number and password handy.
** If you have forgotten your UNISA student number or password, you can reset it on the UNISA website.
** If you have not registered for UNISA’s SMS notification service, you can do so on the UNISA website.

    I want to know when the results will be out I have already completed my portfolio. So kindly tell when the resluts will be out.

    I wrote the January /February 2017 examination for the module HBEDTRD I am surprised because my results on my UNISA shows that I did not take the exams. I have a copy I filled for attendance and I received a E- mail asking me to wait for the result but till now no response.
