What is this online service about?
This service is to provide convenience to the public to:
** Register Profile online and capture their contact details to receive electronic communication from NaTIS. By registering a profile online vehicle owners will be able to obtain their motor vehicle renewal notice (MVL2) two months prior to the expiry date of the vehicle license before going to nearest NaTIS service centre (Post Office or Registering Authority) to renew their license.
** Make Bookings to apply for Learner Licence, Driving License and/or Professional Driving Permits, without having to visit Traffic Departments not having the guarantee of being assisted after standing in long queues.
** Report Motor Vehicle Crashes that just occurred, by using the smart devices without having to queue on the call to report the incidents to South Africa Police Services, Insurances or Emergency Rescuers.
Who is this service for?
This service is for any member of the South African public with a valid South African identity document, foreign identity document, Traffic Register Number (TRN) or Business Register Number (BRN) who would like to register their profile online and obtain their vehicle renewal notices, make an online booking or report motor vehicle crash.
When registering my profile, the application indicates I do not exist?
Your identity is validated against NaTIS, if you receive an error that you do not exist, it is either that your identification details supplied does not exist on NaTIS or; that it was incorrectly captured. For example, on the NaTIS you are registered as AB Surname and you only entered A Surname. If you’re a company your business name must be entered as it appears on your Business Registration Number Certificate (BRNC).
When registering my company profile, the application indicates my proxy does not exist?
Your proxy identity is validated against NaTIS, if you receive an error that your proxy does not exist, it is either that your identification details supplied does not exists on NaTIS or that the proxy details entered does not match the records on NaTIS. Please go to your nearest Registering Authority to correct or update your company’s proxy particulars with all the supporting documentation required.
My driver or learner license number is not working when attempting to register my profile?
Please ensure that you entered the correct license number as it appears on your driver’s license card or the control number as it appears on your learner’s license.
I want to register my profile but I have no email or cellular phone number?
To be able to register your profile online to receive the service(s) offered, it is compulsory to enter either a valid email address, cellular phone number or both. You will have to also select your preferred method of contact and accept to receive electronic communications from NaTIS before continuing.
Upon registering your company profile, what email is required?
The email address recorded will be the email address that your company receives communication from NaTIS. This will not update your proxy’s contact details on NaTIS.

HI I MADE A BOOKING IN MAY LAST YEAR FOR LEARNERS AND I DIDNT KNOW YOU HAVE TO GO AND CONFIRM SO IT EXPIRED NO SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A NEW BOOKING BUT KEEPS GETTING A ERROR ON INFORMATION DOESNT MATCH THE INFORMATION ON THE SYSTEM I DONT UNDERSTAND AND I CALLED EMAILED BUT NO ASSISTENCE
For everyone asking the "expiration date" is the date by which you need to have paid the fee in order to secure your slot for the actual day that you're supposed to be writing the test.
Also I've been trying to secure a new date for learners but it keeps giving me a booking error saying I already have a booking, however for my previous booking I'd already wrote my test and failed and now need a new day but the system refuses to allow me to book a new date. Please help

To change a booking - you can register on NaTis and make a profile. Then there will be an option in the menu to delete the booking. You will be able to therefore change your booking.
