What is SANRAL Scholarship?

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited or SANRAL supports growth in skills through our scholarships, which high school learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12 irrespective of subject choice may apply for. The requirement is for learners to have an overall aggregate of 60%. The scholarship is based on academic merit and financial need, considering the background of the learners. The closing date for the scholarship applications is on 30th September 2022.

** School fees and boarding fees
** School uniform
** Sport uniform
** Books and stationery
** Transport
** Extra lessons
** Registration

Note:
Tuition costs will be paid directly to the school on the submission of school fees statements from the school. School and sport uniform, books and stationery costs will be reimbursed to the parent on receipt of original proof of payment and should be submitted with a claim form.

Eligibility

** The learner must be a South African citizen registered at an endorsed South African school.
** The learner must be applying for Grade 8 to 12, irrespective of subject choice.
** The learner must meet the set minimum requirement to obtain 60% as an overall average.
** The scholarship application must be completed in full.
** All supporting documents must be enclosed.
** Household income should be less that R550 000 per annum.

How To Apply For SANRAL Scholarship?

All applicants must follow the scholarship application procedure outlined in the application form, to be considered for the scholarship. SANRAL reserves the right to forego processing any applications from applicants who do not follow the application procedure outlined in the application form.

These scholarships will be awarded either directly to qualifying learners or to schools that encourage learners to aspire for all-round academic excellence.

Terms And Conditions Apply:
** Late applications will not be considered.
** Applicants must be South African citizens.
** The application form must be completed in full and the information must be accurate and most recent.
** SANRAL’s scholarship will be awarded based on academic performance and financial need as determined by SANRAL’s Scholarship Policy’s set requirements.
** The application will be turned down if it does not comply with these stipulations listed.
** SANRAL may use other applicable conditions in making the final decision in granting the scholarship.
** Successful applicants will be contacted once the final selection process has been completed.
