How To Apply For CUT Admission?

Applications for CUT Admission 2023 will open on 01 June 2022 and close on 30 September 2022. There will be no second-semester applications for 2022.

Steps:
** Go to the link https://enroll.cut.ac.za/pls/prodi41/w99pkg.mi_login
** Click on New Applications
** New applicants, read carefully. Compulsory fields. Must complete to proceed
** You can download this important Document. Read it and Accept it to proceed.
** Biographical data is all about you. Enter the data exactly as it is in your SA ID or Passport – no exceptions. Take care when you complete, changing this data is difficult.
** Contact details. This is how we will communicate with you. Make sure we have the correct information
** Continue with the application process. Complete the information on the screen and click next
** If you have completed Grade 12, your results are uploaded from the Dept of Basic Education – when you arrive to this screen.
** Otherwise, you are required to manually enter your results. Grade 12, Final Grade 11 or June Grade 11. Your most recent result.
** To manually add, click Add Subject and continue to add each subject.
** You can delete a subject by selecting Remove (on the right-hand side of the table
** Tell us where you attended school or if you have studied at another institution.
** If your school/institution is not listed, type in Other.
** Do you have a qualification(s)? Tell us about it. Where, when, what subjects have you completed
** Your academic application. What have you decided to study at CUT? Add your first choice programme.
** Add your second choice programme, should the first option not be possible
** Review the information carefully. Go back and correct any errors. It is important to do this now.
** A copy of this information can be downloaded via Printer Friendly Format.
** Next, you will upload documents. Click Continue
** Do not skip this step. Documents must be uploaded for your application to proceed. Without documents, your application is incomplete.
** Read which document is required, then click Load/View Document.
** Click Upload Document. Click Browse and select the document from your device.
** Click Save once you have browsed to document.
** Review the upload. Yes indicates that you have uploaded successfully
** Screenshot this confirmation screen. Keep your student number safe. You will need it to login and follow up on the application.
** Click Submit Application. Enter the programme you are applying to study and click Search
** The search delivers the programmes that match your search.
** Click on the programme code (in blue) to add the programme to your profile.
** Click View Completed Application(s) and verify the programme is indeed added
** A notification will be e-mailed that your application profile has been updated.

Documents Required For CUT Admission

Following documents are required for CUT Admission

Current Matriculants: upload Final Grade 11 results or June results.
Already Matriculated applicants: you will have to upload your certified ID and Senior Certificate.
Higher Qualifications than matric: you will have to upload your certified ID, Senior Certificate, your qualification(s) and study record.
Postgraduate Applicants: Visit the Head of the Department / Faculty Research Manager to discuss research project for Masters or Doctorate study before applying online.
