What is Vodacom Shop Blue Route Mall Competition?
Vodacom (Pty) Ltd is running a Samsung S23 Competition in the Vodacom store at Blue Route Mall where one lucky participant stands a chance of winning one pair of Black Samsung Buds Plus valued at R1999 . The Competition is only open to natural persons over the age of 18 who upgrade, purchase or trade-in at the Vodacom Shop at the Blue Route Mall in Tokai, Cape Town. The Competition is open from 09h00 on the 7th of April 2023 to 19h00 on the 6th of May 2023.

Eligibility of Vodacom Shop Blue Route Mall Competition
1.The Competition is only open to natural persons over the age of 18 who upgrade, purchase or trade-in at the Vodacom Shop at the Blue Route Mall in Tokai, Cape Town, will be eligible to stand a chance to win in the Competition.
2.Participants must reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identity document or permanent residence permit or temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months for the Republic of South Africa and valid at the End Date.
3.In the event that the user of the qualifying Samsung S23 device (i.e. the participant in the Competition) is not the person that is responsible for the purchase of the participating mobile phone, then the prize will be awarded to the person that is responsible for the purchase of the participating mobile phone and related charges.
Qualifying Samsung S23 Devices are:
** Samsung Galaxy S23 with 128GB storage
** Samsung Galaxy S23 with 256GB storage
** Samsung Galaxy S23+ with 256GB storage
** Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with 256GB storage
** Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with 512GB storage
** Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with 1TB storage.
How To Participate in the Shop Blue Route Mall Competition?
1. In order to stand a chance to win in the Competition, a qualifying participant must adhere to all of the following qualifying requirements:
** Purchase a Qualifying Samsung S23 Device at the Vodacom Shop at the Blue Route Mall in Tokai, Cape Town, during the period of the Competition; or
** Upgrade to a Qualifying Samsung S23 Device at the Vodacom Shop at the Blue Route Mall in Tokai, Cape Town, during the period of the Competition; or
** Trade in an old Samsung device to purchase a Qualifying Samsung S23 Device at the Vodacom Shop at the Blue Route Mall in Tokai, Cape Town, during the period of the Competition;
** Submit an entry card into the competition box at the Vodacom Shop at the Blue Route Mall in Tokai, Cape Town before the end of the Competition; and Retain the proof of transaction.
2. Participants can enter the Competition multiple times. Every transaction which meets the valid entry requirements will receive a Competition entry.
3. Participant must adhere to all of the above qualifying requirements in order to enter the draw.
4.Vodacom shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the winner for entering the Competition or in claiming any prizes, where applicable.
Prizes of Vodacom Shop Blue Route Mall Competition
** One (1) lucky entrant stands a chance to win a pair of black Samsung Buds Plus valued at one thousand nine hundred and ninety nine rand (R1999).
** The winner will be randomly selected on the 6th of May 2023, after the Competition closing time, from entries in the Competition box which meet all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions. The verified winner will be notified within two (2) working days after he / she has been selected and verified as a winner.
** Participants will need to present the proof of transaction upon winning to validate the participants’ entry to the Competition.
** All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by Vodacom Shop Blue Route Mall.
** Vodacom Shop Blue Route Mall will notify the winner that he/she has won in the Competition, and he/she hereby agrees to such disclosure as is necessary to effect prize fulfilment.
** Vodacom Shop Blue Route Mall will use reasonable efforts to contact the winner telephonically on the contact details provided by the participant in the Competition.
** Vodacom Shop Blue Route Mall shall attempt to contact the winners for a period of 2 (two) normal working week days after his / her name has been drawn and verified as the winner.
** The winner will be contacted during normal working hours, between 8 (eight) in the morning and 5 (five) in the afternoon. The winner will be advised of arrangements in respect of prizes at the time of contacting the winner.
** Should a participant not be available on the contact details provided during the timeframe stipulated above or rejects, forfeits or declines acceptance of the prize, that person’s right to the prize will be deemed to have been waived and the prize will be forfeited.
** Vodacom Shop Blue Route Mall reserves the right to then award the prize to the next randomly drawn participant.
Competition Terms and Conditions:
** Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).
** The judges’ decision on any aspect of the Competition including the allocation of the prizes will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
** In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Competition and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
** Vodacom may refuse to award a prize if entry procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.
** Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify participants that they are rejected.
** Vodacom is not liable for any technical failures affecting participation and / or prize redemption process of the Competition.
** In addition, neither Vodacom nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating in and/or the prize redemption process of the Competition.
