How To Apply For University of Limpopo Residence?

Prospective first-time entering students, as well as all undergraduate and postgraduate students, are hereby informed that applications for residence space at the University of Limpopo for the 2027 academic year are officially open.

The application window is now active and will remain open until 30 September 2026. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to secure space, as availability is limited.

** Log in using your student number and PIN
** Select the Residence Application option and follow the prompts

Please ensure that your application is completed and submitted before the closing date. Late applications will not be considered. For enquiries, kindly contact the Residence Administration Office. Apply early and secure your space for 2027!

University of Limpopo Student Residences

The University of Limpopo is rich in diversity. You will surely think some students are weird because of the way they dress, speak their languages, prepare their food and even walk or conduct themselves. Moreover, some shout when they speak whereas others are not audible even from a close range. And guess what, one of these people is your roommate. Adjusting to a new home can be a tense and frightening experience. Your patience and understanding during this initial period of adjustment can go a long way to help you feel at home.

All first-entering students (undergraduates) are allocated double rooms for sharing whereas completing (final-year) students get single rooms. You might share a room with a student from a different culture, religion, or nationality from yours. Use this as an advantage to learn new languages, cultures and traditions.

There is Wi-Fi connectivity in the residences. During the Covid-19 lockdown, the university adopted a multimodal (online) teaching and learning where reliable access to the Internet has become a vital resource.

University of Limpopo Conference Accommodation

The University does have affordable accommodation for conferences. Student Residences are utilised to accommodate visitors during University recess (June/July and December) on request.
