How do I register with TAKEALOT?
** To register as a shopper, create a profile. We’ll need your name, e-mail address, a password of 8 characters and at least 1 contact number.

** To register as a business, you’ll need to enter your Business Name and your Business’ VAT Registration number as additional fields.

** This information will then be printed onto your Tax Invoice.
** The Contact Person name should be the person receiving and signing for the goods.

How do I buy something from TAKEALOT?
1. Find the items you wish to buy :
** Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page.
** You will also find links to browse lists and more detailed product-specific searches in the top and left navigation bar of each department.
** When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item to see its details, including availability and dispatch estimate times.

2. Add to cart :
** Found the products you want to buy? Click on Add to cart.
** Your shopping cart contains all the products that you have selected to buy.
** Once you’ve added an item to your Shopping Cart, keep searching until your cart contains all of the items you want to order.
** You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the

** Your Wish List is a handy list of all the items you do not want to checkout with immediately.

3. Check out :

1. I just won an IPhone11pro from the competition and I claimed it and it was said that my I must fill the shipping forms on the next page but I couldn’t find the link, they said my Iphone 11Pro would be reserved by takealot so, I need to find shipping details.

2. I ordered LED lights from Takealot 3 weeks ago, received the lights and they didn’t work.So, I returned them and received new light (these, again, had a fault). There was a tear in the material and only about 20 cm of lights worked. Took them back a 2nd time. Received 3rd set of lights today, they were the wrong lights and no remote in them. This has turned out to be a pretty expensive deal. Today, I just had my account credited was not prepared to venture out a 4th and 5th time! Totally unacceptable. Disappointed customer.

3. I have placed an order that is scheduled for delivery tomorrow to my work address, I am working from home as from today and no one will be at the office to accept the delivery. Can I change my delivery address to home or rather collect my order?

Error / Problem:
1. Your number does not work, I ordered an XBox on Black Friday and I received an incomplete order. I have queried about this and I am not get getting any decent response. This is very frustrating and unheard of levels of poor customer service.

2. Takealot Customer Service Number is 087 820 5058. This number does not work. I saw, it has been mentioned before with no alternative. Please give me a call (or) send me an alternative number.

I have been tracking it all day only to discover at 17h21 it stated my order was delivered. it is 18h31 and I still don’t have my order. I am not able to reach anyone to assist.the order value is over R47000. I am worried it was delivered to the incorrect address. I stayed home today especially to receive my order. this is unacceptable on all levels.

    Still no concise information regarding my order with takealot, nor any movement on the tracking system or indication of delivery, all your competitors are able to give a clear and precise delivery date, even SAPO has a more reliable tracking system and to top that delivers quicker too.

    Based on your customer feedback on various platforms including facebook & hellopeter You can see that 99% of your complaints are due this lack of communication, unreliability and bad customer service all stemming from the same cause.

    I have been a loyal customer since Kalahari days but with each order things become progressively worse. and it seems that you are in no way intent on heading the voices of your supporters.

    This is really not wise as more and more competitors emerge offering the same products at the same or similar pricing with more efficient delivery,concise tracking and better all round service.

    Your call centre agents could learn from government departments, you tracking and delivery could learn from Sapo all in all im very disappointed and feel ill be forced to take my patronage elsewhere which is sad for me given all the years Ive remained a client and all the people Ive recommended use your shop. This is not on I was promised delivery within this week
