How To Pay uFiling?

uFiling is a secure Online system introduced to Employers to register, declare and pay UIF contributions. Employees can also use the system to apply for benefits such as unemployment, maternity and illness.

Payment Methods

Pay Using Instructed Debit Pull

Add Your Account :
** Register the bank account or accounts you wish to use for payment under Select “Employer Information” and then “Banking Information”.
** Click “Add New”.

** Complete the required banking information.
** Click “Update” – You are now ready to pay your bill using Instructed Debit.

Pay Your Account :
** Select the declaration, or declarations, you wish to pay and click pay.
** Choose your preferred bank account from the list and instruct the payment. Unemployment Insurance Fund will send this instruction to your bank which will debited with the instructed amount.

The system confirms your payment instruction and provides a notification once the payment has been confirmed successful by your bank.
** Your payment is allocated to your account and will reflect on your next statement.

The average response time from your bank is 24 – 48 hours however your account with the department is updated once you have made the payment instruction.

Naturally, should your payment be declined by the bank for reasons such as insufficient funds then we immediately reverse the payment and update your account with the Department.

Please note that for security reasons the system is unable to automatically debit your account and hence you need to monthly instruct payment for each statement.

Pay Using Nedbank

Pay using My eBills™ on various Nedbank :
Unemployment Insurance Fund allows you to link your Nedbank, my ebills bank account to your uFiling user account, this will allow payments to be loaded into My ebills bank account to you.

The payment is not successful until you release it within your Nedbank banking application.

** Relax, because you are paying us directly your account is guaranteed to be reconciled and updated.
** Remove the risk. Using your own banking application is safe and convenient.

** Pay your account where and when it is easiest for you.
** Your uFiling profile is immediately updated with all payment information.
** Your payment history is available on the uFiling site for a minimum of 2 years.

Pay Your Unemployment Insurance Fund Account :
Add your bank account :
** Log into uFiling Website.
** Select “Employer Information” and the “Banking Information”.
** Complete the required banking Information.

Pay your account :
** Log into uFiling Website.
** Select “Statement of Account” from your home page.
** Select the declaration or declarations you wish to pay.
** Click “Pay Accounts”.
** Choose the Nedbank bank account type you wish to pay from: Nedbank Business or Nedbank Internet Banking.

Nedbank Internet Banking :
** Log into Nedbank Internet Banking.
** Navigate to the “Payments” Tab.
** Click on “Government Payments” sub tab.
** Select the payment you wish to authorise.
** Enter all the relevant details.
** Select “Make payment”.

Nedbank Business Banking :

To find the eBill payments batch as generated on uFiling
** Select “Transactions” > “Payments” > “e-Bill payments”.
** Select the “uFiling Payment” that needs to be submitted for authorisation.
** Select the debit account number from the dropdown list.
** Select “Submit Batch”.
** “Submit for Authorisation”.

Authorisers :
** To authorise the batch select “Authorise” > “eBill Payments”.
** Select “uFiling eBill Payments”.
** “Authorise”.

Pay Using FNB

Credit Push With FNB :
Unemployment Insurance Fund allows you to link your FNB bank account to your uFiling user account, This will allow payments to be loaded into FNB-CAMS, FNB Online Banking and FNB Internet Banking.

These payment instructions require you to log into FNB-CAMS, FNB Online Banking and FNB Internet Banking to release them. The payment is not successful until you release it within your FNB banking application.

** Relax, because you are paying us directly your account is guaranteed to be reconciled and updated.
** Remove the risk. Using your own banking application is safe and convenient.

** Pay your account where and when it is easiest for you.
** Your uFiling profile is immediately updated with all payment information.

** Choose the FNB bank account type you wish to pay from: FNB-CAMS, FNB Online Banking and FNB Internet Banking.

FNB Online Banking Enterprise :
** Log into Online Banking Enterprise.
** Navigate to the “Payments” tab.
** Click on “eFiling” sub tab.

** Click on “Submit eFiling” in the menu to submit a uFiling payment authorisation.
** Select the eFiling payment which requires authorisation and click on “Continue”.

** The landing page will no longer reflect the eFiling payment as it has been forwarded for authorisation.
** Click on the “Payments” sub tab.

** Click on “Authorisation Needed” and select the uFiling payment to authorise. Thereafter click on “Authorise”.
** Enter your Digital Certificate and password and click on “Accept”.
